Campus life, sports facilities and faculty and academic of the college
Student and faculty relation is very good.

Dislikes

It is third generation iit so not much developed.
College is not much big. It is still under construction.

Course Curriculum Overview

Material science is a research field so I opted for it. The faculty is well qualified and graduated from a very good University. Student and faculty ratio is good and exams were taken once in 15 days. It is medium to tough level.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very good. The average package of the college is above 17 lakh. It is increasing year by year. It has many employment options. Research level is also good in college and to open self business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are good as it is a government college. The scholarship is given according to the financial status of the student. Placement is good and there will be no issues with financial assistance. College is good. There is no issue with fees

Campus Life

The life of the college is very good. There are cultural fest, tech fest, and sports fest. The sports facility is very good. Students get all the chance to play their sports on campus. Kritash is a social club in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good . There is all facilities available in the hostel. Mess food is average but better than other college. Registration fees for hostel has no issues. Hostel life is good. All facilities were good.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

To opt for admission you have to give jee mains and jee advanced. Jee Mains application comes on the nta website and Jee Advanced is organised by IITs. Application fees are 1000 for the general category and obc and 600 for sc st and girls. It is a government college, that works on all reservation benefits. It is a good admission process

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

Placement Experience:

Basements are pretty good, especially for the electrical and computer science branches the average package of computer science is around 25 lakhs per annum as per the latest placement sale and for other branches it is also pretty well you will be provided an internship from third year onwards and many candidates have also been provided with ppos.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in our college. Almost 80% of students from cse it ever gets placed and is also good in core branches. The highest package of Cse I think is 50 lakh and the average is around 8-9.

i got this college based on my jee advanced rank , i applied for some better iits but my rank was not upto it . i got 3778 obc rank which got me electrical branch in iit jammu. i also got 5431 obc rank in jee mains that was giving me chance to get cs in lower iits or electrical type branch in nit kurukshetra or other iiits , but i chose iit over iiits and nits beacuse of branch name ....Read More
