IIT Jammu BTech Admissions Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The eligibility and selection criteria for BTech Admissions at IIT Jammu are-

Candidates must have a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board of education, OR candidates must be in the top 20th percentile in class 12. For SC/ST candidates, 10% relaxation is given in the qualifying degree marks, which means 65% is required in class 12.

IIT Jammu Dual Degree Admission 2025

IIT Jammu, in collaboration with IIM Jammu, offers a dual degree program (BTech + MBA). The total duration for the program is 6 years. The initial four years are for the B. Tech program, and the last two years are for the MBA program. The program has been strategically designed to allow students to exit the program after completing the fourth year, as specified in the National Education Policy 2020, Ministry of Education, Government of India. After completing the fourth year, students will have the option of graduating with a B.Tech degree or earning a certificate in management.

To register for IIT Jammu Executive MTech admissions, the candidates must-

Apply on the Intellipaat portal link.
Intellipaat will verify the documents.
Intellipaat will communicate to the eligible candidates the date for the online proctored written test and interview after verifying their documents. i got this college based on my jee advanced rank , i applied for some better iits but my rank was not upto it . i got 3778 obc rank which got me electrical branch in iit jammu. i also got 5431 obc rank in jee mains that was giving me chance to get cs in lower iits or electrical type branch in nit kurukshetra or other iiits , but i chose iit over iiits and nits beacuse of branch name .

For me cleanliness, environment and healthy life is very important and also I got a seat on iit on my first attempt so I had taken this course and currently I am graduated and doing perfectly fine and not regretting my decision. Also my rank was not very good that's why I got rejected from other old iits I applied for. I applied in all old iits and also to nits and to some IIITs too. Admission process to get into these prestigious college is only through JEE advanced exam which is very hard but with determination, perseverance and hard work you can definitely get into good college.

There is entrance exam called JEE-advanced for admission into IIT's. And There is JOSSA counseling For Admission Process. We can easily find examination and application forms in their respective websites. there is 10% EWS , 27% OBC-NCL , 15% SC and 7.5% ST category reservation in seats

Eligibility is to qualify for jee advanced by writing jee mains. And then get rank better or equal to than 17-18k which varies with year for general students. You can easily get those details on josaa website

IIT Jammu PhD Admission 2024 (August Session) for the Academic Year 2024–25 is going on. IIT Jammu PhD is a 3-year program in a total of 11 different departments. There are various options for IIT Jammu PhD admission, such as full-time, externally funded, external project funding, off-campus (external), off-campus (part-time), and institute staff. IIT Jammu PhD program admission requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, technology, science, or any equivalent discipline. Apart from this, candidates need GATE, UGC-CSIR NET, GPA, NBHM, ICMR (JS), and ICAR (JS) scores. Candidates can use the following steps for the IIT Jammu PhD admission in 2024:

Candidates must visit the official website of IIT Jammu: ttps://saral.iitjammu.ac.in/phdapplication.
After that, you can click on the ‘Click Here to Log in’ button.
After this, you now click on ‘New Registration’ if you are registering for the first time.
Now you can click on the PhD application link for the August session.
Now candidates need to fill out the application form using personal information and academic qualifications.
Now you should upload the necessary documents.
After uploading the documents, you can pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 300 for General/Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL and INR 200 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.
Now you can click on ‘Submit’ and download the form for your future reference.

To be eligible for the two years full-time MBA course at IIT Jammu you must have passed your Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from the recognized institute. Admission is based on a valid CAT score.
