Best college with best memories

Likes

Class Rooms and Living Area of my collage
Behaviour of teachers was awesome And all other students was also nice
Also the computer labs are much better than other collages

Dislikes

Washroom management And water management
Some garden area was not good and plants was not watered properly
Some of the staff was not good to talk or for leave for holiday

Admission:

I choose this collage because of the faculties of course and scholarships and I also applied for many collages this collage is best for my education the addmission process was i submitted the form with 300Rs of fee and 3 photographs No I didn't rejected from any other collages

i like the hostels , as compared to many colleges , our college is pretty new that's why we have good hostels .
i also liked the gym here , i am a weighlifter so i wanted a good gym , that we have here , i recently visited iit indore and i can openly say our gym is far better than them.
the classrooms are also good here , centralised ac , good sitting facility .

Dislikes

as any other college , i don't like the mess food , some days its too bad , some day its good too , but food being bad to eatable is more frequent than being good.
i also feel the lack of a good ground , we only have one ground as of now , that is used for football, atheletics , cricket and all, that too is quite small compared to i saw in many colleges .
being new its alumni network is pretty weak or you can say not as good as in top iits , we lack good mentorship.

Admission:

i got this college based on my jee advanced rank , i applied for some better iits but my rank was not upto it . i got 3778 obc rank which got me electrical branch in iit jammu. i also got 5431 obc rank in jee mains that was giving me chance to get cs in lower iits or electrical type branch in nit kurukshetra or other iiits , but i chose iit over iiits and nits beacuse of branch name .

Jammu is the heaven so is this iit for your better future

Likes

Naturally where my college is is very good and pollution free areas and air is so soothing there very refreshing and weather is so beautiful all the time and whole college is on mountain area so it is also very relaxing.
I like the culture of IITs that things are very flexible
If you want to do something and have a great idea this will be your place for sure.

Dislikes

They don't allow to go outside after 11 which is very sad.
Boys to girl ratio is 5:1 which is so annoying girls please choose maths.
So many downhill and uphill area so sometimes it is very annoying walking there because you can get tired so easily.

Admission:

For me cleanliness, environment and healthy life is very important and also I got a seat on iit on my first attempt so I had taken this course and currently I am graduated and doing perfectly fine and not regretting my decision. Also my rank was not very good that's why I got rejected from other old iits I applied for. I applied in all old iits and also to nits and to some IIITs too. Admission process to get into these prestigious college is only through JEE advanced exam which is very hard but with determination, perseverance and hard work you can definitely get into good college.

The college has very much eco friendly campus
The campus is very beautiful as it is on top of a mountain
Infrastructure is very good and systematic

Admission:

I choose this college over other colleges because it had a bery great progress in past few years as its NIRF rankings also improved by a big gap . The placements are almost 100 % . It is also very beautiful and we have regular visits to nearby villages and forests

Know about IIT JAMMU

Likes

As the college is new so the infrastructure is quite modern.
The equipments in lab are of latest model.
In materials departments each and every professor is friendly with students and very helpful.

Dislikes

This IIT is not very big as compared to other IITs
Sports facilities are here but not very crazy.
There are so many unnecessary restrictions in hostels like you can not use iron or kettle

Admission:

As I was getting only this college so I choose this college. The admission process of my college is based on josaa counciling which is based on your jee advanced rank. The exam is quite tough and need serious efforts to clear the exam.

There is Mentorship Program For Freshers so that can know the culture of campus
There are various clubs for overall development of students like coding, robotics ,cultural ,arts
There is also club for placements called "career development service''

Dislikes

Old pattern course that cannot fulfill future demands of skills required
Not enough Placements Like first gen. IIT's
Work To Build Sports Complex and New Academic Block is running

There is entrance exam called JEE-advanced for admission into IIT's. And There is JOSSA counseling For Admission Process. We can easily find examination and application forms in their respective websites. there is 10% EWS , 27% OBC-NCL , 15% SC and 7.5% ST category reservation in seats

Likes

Food of IIT Jammu mess is good and they maintain hygiene.
Environment of IIT Jammu is good and we can see the mountain of mata vaishno temple from IIT Jammu.
Faculty staff is good in IIT Jammu and they helped students to get internship and placement.

Dislikes

Attandance is mandatory minimum 70 percent.
Campus area is small in comparison other IITs
Placement and packages is good but not every student get placed

Admission:

If you have cleared JEE Advanced and your rank is within the cutoff rank then you are eligible to take admission in my college. An aspirant feel intense competition , High stress and anxiety. Lengthy preparation and limited attempts are depressed. Provide mental health and counseling support to help students manage stress and anxiety.

The entrance in the btech program of any branch is on the basis of Jee Advanced rank and as this is the 3rd Gen IIT so one can get into this at a somewhere high rank also. And Jee advanced happens after 2 session of Mains

What is the IIT Jammu GATE cutoff for PG?

Candidates who are willing to be admitted to IIT Jammu M.Tech programs in the Computer Technology, Data Science, and Information Security departments must secure a minimum GATE score of 550. For admission to the Communication and Signal Processing department, a GATE cutoff score of 500 marks is required for eligibility. There is no cutoff criteria for the M.Tech in Tunnel Engineering course at IIT Jammu. Here are some previous year cutoffs:
