NOTE:

Insurance fees under annual fee may increase approximately by 30% but may be more depending on actual costs as determined at the beginning of each year.

Excludes membership fee for specialized facilities on campus.

Fee components other than tuition fees will increase annually at the rate of 5 %.

Mess charges will be notified separately and shall be paid accordingly.

The fee for Summer Term will be added if opted for.

The institute offers B.Tech courses in the following electives at the undergraduate level.

For each specialization, IIT Jammu offers 34 seats except Mechanical Engineering, in which 33 seats are offered.

Note: The colleges also offer 5, 3, 2 supernumerary seats to female candidates in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering courses respectively.

Eligibility:

75% marks (65% for SC/ST) in 10+2 or secure top 20 percentile in 10+2 conducted by the respective board.

Selection Process:

The admission to B.Tech program is done through Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE-Advanced) rank and administered by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) through centralized counseling conducted by JoSSA at the all-India level.

Candidates can apply online for the UG courses through JEE Advanced. Candidates applying for any of the B. Tech. programs offered by IIT Jammu are required to ensure fulfillment of basic eligibility criteria with regards to the percentile of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam, prior to filling the application form. 

Candidates cannot apply directly through the institute’s website. They need to first apply for JEE Main and then for JEE Advanced in order to get admission in the institute.
