Life is as good as it gets in a college, you will never forget these years. If you're good at studies this college welcomes you and if you are not- you will get lots of opportunities to improve, go to teachers if you need help

The course curriculum consist of core, electives and open courses is just like any other college, if you are studious you will do good anywhere. The exam structure per semester is as follows. minor1+ minor2+ major for each subject.

The placements for iit jammu is not in par woth other iits. Being the 4th gen iit it doesn't have any records for the placements yet (as the first batch is yet to graduate. But till now cs has great placements, ee and mech core placements are still going on. Internship at college can given to students doing projects under the faculty.

Techfest (first one was held last year in march), cultural fest(was held in November last year), sports fest( convoqer - is held every year in April) are there, but more will come in near future.budget for fest in other iits is also provided to students. Inter iit cultural fest, technical fest, sports meets etc are already going on since the inception.

Feasible 1.2lacs for general,obc above 5 lac income 65k for general, obc below 5lac Free tution fee for sc, st students. Scholarship is also provided to students. Based ont their grades and family income

Any bank will provide loan to this college. Scholarship will be provided based on family income. Mcm1,mcm2 and freeship for mess is provided to students with family income less than 5lacs, cgpa is another factor.

Gender ratio are getting better every year, extracurricular activities are highly appreciated Several clubs are already established, like music, arts, drama, robotics, sae, literary, incubation centre, workshops, parties are held on severalsl ocassion.

Rooms are alloted @ 2 heads per room. Rooms are spacious, 24 hrs electricity, wifi and internet connectivity is there, a common room is provided for recreational activities, gym, playgrounds are acessible to all, indoor sports like tt, pool are also present.

Senior students are very helpful, we don't have a alumni network yet. mentors are provided to freshers to help them with certain issues teachers are supportive too, counselor are also employed by the college administration

First clear jee main. Then clear jee adv, then sit in josaa counselling. You will be alloted a seat in the iit(anyone) based on your rank. Confirm(freeze) your allotment( by paying some ammount. Pay the Institute fees.

The faculty is good not great, it is a new institute. May be in future it will be excellent. The knowledge of teacher is good but are inexperienced, most of them are students of other IITs. Just completed therlir post graduation or phd.
