Brand IIT

Monthly expenses is less than 2000.Our college is unded construction so we have to face lots of problem but once it get completed everything is fine. Being a new IIT we have to make everything from scratch but this also provides opportunities toblearn a lot.

Course curriculum is good. In the very first semester we have 4 thoery and 5 labs. The whole course curriculum is based upon IIT Delhi. We have 2 Minors and 1 Major in a semester. Besides these we have surprise quizzes and assignments. it is good for overall development of a student.

Being a 3rd generation IIT, it is opened in 2016 and its first placement is going to held in this December, but we are expecting to have a very good placements here. College is very helpful in providing internships but you are academically very good. Lots of students do there internships in Durgapur. Some CS students got internships in France and Singapore.

Being an IIT we have lots of fest and carnivals. We have our Sports Fest 'Convoquer:, Techfest' 'Technunctus'19 ', cultural fest, Industry Conclave, and lot more. We also celebrate the calendar celebration and festivals. We are like a big and happy family.

Fee structure is quite flexible. It is based upon your family's income. These are fixed by government. If ypur family Income is less than 5 L, then you have to pay only 1/3rd of fees. There are lots of scholarships available for SC/ST/OBC and other Students.

There are lots of scholarships available for SC/ST/OBC and other Students. One of these are MCM. You have to get a min CGPA to get merit schlorships. Based on the family Income they provide a huge schlorship which are very helpful. That's what IIT is so about.

We have a lot of extracurricular activities. If one wants to play he can do so... Any sports.... Lot of facilities. Sports is one the major part of ever students life. Labs are developing at good rate. We have computer lab of about 150 computers and physics lab, electrical lab and many are developing. We have our Product realization labs which are quite good.

Yes all the IIT's are fully residential. Being a new IIT this is an advantage. We have new hostel which are excellent in terms of cleanliness, safety, equipments. We have geysers in bathrooms, washing machines, water coolers and everything in very good condition.... New.

Being a 3rd generation IIT, we don't have any alumni network yet. Seniors are very helpful and hardworking specially 3rd year. We are expecting to have a strong alumni network soon. These are benefits of IIT.

Faculty is very good. Being a new IIT is developing in every field and New faculties are added. We have faculties which are involved in research kind of things. Some are new and less experienced but overall it good.
