The Executive Post-Graduate Diploma Program in Management (EPGDPM) at IIM Visakhapatnam (IIMV) is a 1-year part-time programme exclusively designed for officers and executives working in the defence production sector. The base programme fee for EPGDPM is Rs. 8,25,000 (plus applicable GST), payable in 3 instalments across 3 terms. The fee covers instruction, courseware, domestic immersion modules, and programme management costs. An additional fee applies for the optional international immersion at ESCP Paris, France. Participants who cannot attend the international immersion can opt for online courses at Rs. 50,000 per credit (total Rs. 3,00,000 for 6 credits).

The selection process involves an Online Proctored Aptitude Test (75 minutes, 60 questions covering VARC, DILR, and QA), followed by an Online Personal Interview and evaluation of a Statement of Purpose (SoP).

Eligibility Criteria

Must be on the regular rolls (full-time employment) of DDP (Ministry of Defence, GoI), Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), or private defence sector enterprises.
Must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Minimum 5 years of full-time post-graduation work experience at officer/executive level or above (part-time, clerical, or apprenticeship roles not counted).
Government and PSU employees must have at least 15 years of remaining service at the time of application (not applicable to private sector applicants).

Admission Process

Submit online application at admissions.iimv.ac.in/epgdpm along with a Statement of Purpose (SoP, max 250 words) explaining interest in the programme and anticipated benefits.
Shortlisted candidates appear for an Online Proctored Aptitude Test (75 min, 60 questions: VARC, DILR, QA; no negative marking).
All aptitude test takers are invited for an Online Personal Interview (via Zoom).
Final merit list prepared based on Aptitude Test score, PI score, and SoP evaluation.

Ans. The Online Proctored Aptitude Test is 75 minutes long with 60 questions (20 each in Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude). Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking. Sample test papers are available on the IIMV website.
