College and hostel are separated this is negative point for college. All students have to travel daily to attend college. But good part is college provide transportation services to students. Fees is bit high but placements are good and most of students got the placement in good company.
At last I would like to say that overall our college is good. But there is a negative remark that we do not have our permanent campus instead our college is done at Government Engineering College which is in Gandhinagar.
Hostel is bit far from college. So students have to travel daily from hostel to college. But good thing is college have their transportation vehicles. So no need of worry they will arrange everything as per curriculum.
Mess is situated both in college and hostel as well.
Positive :1. Nice placement record
2. National institute
3. Great coding culture
4. Students are from all over India so nice cultural mixing is observable.
Negative:1. the current hostel is far from the main city.
2. 75 percent attendance is compulsory
3. Institute has a temporary campus
Although till 2019 only 3 batches are pass out from the Institute, the placement ratio and average packages offered is increasing every year. Institute is in its growing phase with currently operating from its temporary campus, but the achievements and position it has achieved is very appreciable. And I feel proud be a part of this Institute.
The college is really a good one. We receive all the facilities, good internet connection, sports equipments, labs, good faculty, placements. Whatever a college student requires, it is provided by IIITV
Faculties are cooperative here. Teachers are well-qualified from IITs, NITs with a good knowledge of the subject. Some guest faculty members are also invited for the lecturers. 1:9 is the faculty-student ratio. I'm in the first year, so I didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is well-planned and useful for the students.
I took JEE Mains, I scored 136 in Mains and had a pretty decent board % of 94%. I wanted to do b.tech in computer science. I had no other choice but to go for this college.
