From the EAPCET, I had secured a seat in VITAP, but I didn't join there as I secured a seat in IIITVICD which is a renowned institution. I didn't get rejected from any college I applied. Admission process of joining my college is a smooth process of filling out all the necessary forms provided to you in the website and the staff are very helpful. The institute accepts a JEE MAINS rank.

Likes

Good labs are present in this college with all devices and instruments.
Good campus life is provided to the students.
Many tech fests and workshops are held for students.

Dislikes

The college is around 6 to 7 km away from main city Diu(U.T)
The things sold around in city are much expensive than normal.

Admission:

I applied for some other IIIT's and other good private colleges in my home state Gujarat. This college was at highest priority in my state as I always wanted to stay in my state. Also this college provides everything at comparatively some less fees than that of other private colleges in my college. Also due to package assurance I opted for this college.

Intro to IIITV- ICD

Likes

The campus life is very good at IIIT Vadodara- ICD.
A very good coding culture is also there, and good labs are there.
Many tech fests and other activities takes place here for student's social development and knowing the technology more deeply.

Dislikes

The college is around 7 to 8 km away from the main city DIU(U.T).
The things here around the college are expensive than the normal rates.

Admission:

I applied for many colleges including many NIT's and other top IIIT's. But I preffered this college the most as it was in my homestate Gujarat and provided the courses at much lower prices with respect to some other private collges, and also due to package assurance I selected this college. The admissions are taken only on the basis of JEE Mains.

Likes

Campus is too good here it has all Green Environment
Mess facility is too good here is clean and hygienic food
There is no seniority here all the students love like friends

Dislikes

Study pattern is not so good. Class are not scheduled

I had applied to a few NITs, IITs it is and state engineering College through NIMCET and CEUT counselling process while I got shortlisted in a couple of State University I choose IIIT Vadodara ICD because of it's better Curriculum faculty and placement opportunities in the computer science domain Overall my admission experience was a smooth the counselling process was completely online after allotment that document verification if he payment per done digital I failed the process was systematic and student friendly

COLLEGE LIFE AT IIIT VADODARA (24-25)

Likes

great coding culture, about 80% students participate in cp
faculty, experienced and supportive faculty
placements, the college had great placements in 23-24 year

Dislikes

distance between college and hostel is about 10 km
no permanent campus which also means no sports acctivity
high fees, one has to spend about 18 lakhs for the entire course to get a placement of about 10 lpa

Admission:

My college is very close to my house, about 40 km far. I chose it because it was an Institute of National Importance and is partially funded by the government and it had a good placement statistics. And also because I was getting my desired course there.

I like The healthy enviorment and the city here , i like the people and staff and everything .

um , there are not so much things like that , but year , we are improving on our college campus too ,soon we will have everything we need , sports , facilities and everything . nothing to dislike .

Admission:

I choosed this college because of the great review outside plus from the alumni from the college , and also the placement statistics are great here , that's why I choose this college , even after not having a great campus , we are in a great city Gandhinagar , near gift city , so companies come easy here , it is helpful . Admission Process is very Easy

Likes

coding culture is great. everybody is coding and seniors help a lot.
educated and highly qualified faculty from premium institutes like IITs.
courses are curated in such a way that integrate use of programming like in subjects like electronics and mathematics.

Dislikes

not having a campus of our own. its a headache.
bad facilities since we dont have our own campus.

Admission:

I choose IIIT Vadodara over other colleges soley because for its great placement records and education. while the institute lacks providing basic facilities like infrastructure, clubs and sports requierments.

My experience at IIITV in 3 years

Likes

Good Environment of Coding and the seniors are respectful too
Provides good placement and opportunities for coding enthusiasts
Faculty is from DA-ICT so they are well educated and have good experience of teaching

Dislikes

There is no permanent campus so it is a bit chaotic in transportation
Hostel is far away from the campus and it takes a lot of time to reach college
For transportation there are non ac and old busses

Admission:

Elegibility is first you have to clear JEE Mains and you should have above 90+ percentile to get into this college. Exams take place two times in a Semester. Exams are taken in a week. All the exams are completed in a week

Support from faculty, awareness about subjects and different clubs

Dislikes

Too heavy restriction. poor management for drinking water and irregularity in classes.
Sometimes classes are conducted in night time if the faculty faila to complete the course.

Admission:

I took jee mains exams in 2023. I was preparing from fitjee Delhi. I took the exam for the January session. My percentile was 96.4. Later decreased to 92. I took the Josaa counselling and got it in round 7. I did not get any reservation benefits. The admission process was quite stressful and everyone goes through it
