Review of IIT JODHPUR

Likes

Yaa I like here is lots of club present where I can participate.
Campus size is too big and I can openly walk where I want to go.
Here is very quality infrastructure our classroom are very big with full of ac and digital boards also in classroom

Dislikes

First thing I dislike that campus is very big without bycycle can't go here and there.
Class timings is very bad we have classes morning 8 to evening 6 o'clock so we have limited time to explore other things
Some time classes are little bit boring to understand the concepts

Yah our college placement is very good, it is around 18 to 19 lpa. 7th and 8th semester students are eligible for campus placement. In our campus placement every big company come in placement rounds. In our college around 90 to 95 percent students got placed last year.

Placement Experience:

Whatever i had heard from the senior if u had worked sincerly in all four years , you will be placed and with good package around 30-40 pakh per annum and the placement percentage is also quite good in the college.

Likes

Big campus area in college and look beautiful.
A big sports ground with all facilities etc.
Hostel single rooms with AC liked so much.

Dislikes

Mess food is not very good in our college.
There some also Wi-Fi problem in our college.
And also some security issues in our college

Placements in my college are quit good if compare to other non iit college because it is second generation iit college so it have good placements with internship and the percentage of student getting placements is above 90 per .

My college

Likes

Campus is very nice and the environment is comfortable.
This iit have good building structure with greenary.
This iit is near from my home town so it's easy to travel.

Dislikes

The shedule of class is not perfect from my perspective.
The city is far away from the iit Jodhpur.
Sometimes food of mess is not good as I think.

Placement Experience:

There is good placement persentage. Every year many students get placed in different companies and have a good package. Average package of this iit is around 21.30 LPA So it's good. And highest package is around 51LPA.

Likes

campus is really big and beautiful .it has lot of facilities .
teaching method is excellent .all faculties are well qualified
hostel alloted to us are really well developed and has good infrastructure

Dislikes

75% attendance policy applied after my admission
girls to boy ratio is 13:87 ,which is very low
quality of water for drinking is not that much good.

Placement Experience:

placement is quite good ,we get placements from companies like google ,microsoft ,oracle ,infosys ,amazon ,zomato ,etc .highest package is 55lpa and average package is 22 lpa .percentage of students placed is 95% (from cse b.tech) .

you have to buy cycle because departments are so far.

college placement starting from after the 7th semester , total offers made 380+ and some PPO 50+ total comapanies 290+ oracle, google ,samsung , amazon, EY, mercedes,BNY,TCS,Paytm, Accenture india and accenture japan and many more

MBA at IITJ

Likes

Hostels at IITJ are better than any other college as it provides single occupancy room to every student with an AC.
Sports Facilities at the campus are top notch be it any sport.
Campus area is very large as it is the 3rd largest IIT

Dislikes

Location of the campus is faraway from the city.
Transportation inside the college is an issue.
College needs to have more food outlets.

Placement Experience:

For summer internship the companies start coming up in the 1st semester itself and the process goes on till all the students are placed for summer internship. For final placements many students get PPO and for others companies start coming from 3rd semester.

Indian Institute Of Technology Jodhpur Review

Likes

The college campus is really huge and the sport ground has courts for almost every game.
All students are provided single rooms from 1st year. Also every room has an individual air conditioner.
The college has many food vendors within the campus. Apart from that we also have 2 grocery stores within the campus.

Dislikes

Teachers of some department are really average, like they won't be able to explain you even simple concepts easily.
Mess food is not at all good, the taste is quite bad also there are hygiene issues.
There is frequent cuts of water supply, however it is notified atleast 4-5 hours prior.

Placement Experience:

Placements for all branches are really good, almost every branch has 90%+ placement. Students are eligible for placements from 7th sem onwards. Many big companies like google,amazon, microsoft, graviton, quadeye,delloite etc. visit our campus for placement and internships. As far as i know highest package that was offered was from a japanese company and it was of 80lpa ctc for software developer role.

Life in IIT

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and most of the people are talking each other.
Both languages are used to study ( end + hindi).
Mess food is also suitable for a student .

Dislikes

Many students do not eat the mess food .
I want to some extra companies visit this campus.
I think many of students are careless about their future they also aware about it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like physics from eleventh so I choose this course to study in my future. Because physics is used in every activities of our life. I want to improve the relationship between students and faculty more much.
