Life in IIT

I applied colleges for like IIT Delhi, Madras , Bombay , Kharagpur , Kanpur , Roorkee , Guwahati , BHU bt I didn't get the branch I like cause I didn't want the lower branches . So then I got mechanical engineering in IIT Jodhpur. I got the colleges but the lower branches like metallurgy and bioengineering . I gave JEE Advanced for IITs . I came in this college through Josaa councelling . Eligibilty Criteria- Should have 75% marks in class 12 for general and OBC. Should have at least 65% in class 12 for SC , ST and PWD. For the admission,I wrote jee mains and then jee advanced exams,the cutoff for me (general) was 80 out of 360 I think,I scored 106 marks and secured 16329 rank in jee advanced,the closing rank for bioengineering was around 17000,so I got a seat in the college....Read More
