IIM Ranchi had a 99% placements record.. placement cells tried their best for placement... The highest salary package offered was 58 LPA, and the average package salary package offered was15 LPA. Maximum candidates were placed in the sales and marketing domain. Some of the reputed companies are Deloitte, Amazon,wipro,tcs, Flipkart, Unilever,amul etc.

The summer placement process starts in the month of July. The final placements start in the month of August. The highest package for abroad stood at INR 55 lakhs for tolaram group. There were 100% placements for both summers and finals. I plan to work and foster my career on the path of development by contributing to the success of the company.

The course curriculum here is designed in such a way that a student can manage his studies well and meanwhile also find ample time for participating in events, case competitions, and cultural activities. The Faculty-Student ratio here is 1:8. There are 32 full-time faculty at IIM Ranchi and they possess vast experience. More than 80% of the faculty are PhD holders from top universities across the globe. The teaching pedagogy used here is very effective in learning. HBR case studies are discussed in the class and class participation is encouraged. The Mid Term and End Term exams are held in a timely manner. Due to the pandemic situation, all exams were held in Online mode for me. However, the college administration made sure that students are able to submit their answer scripts very conveniently. In order to pass a student must perform consistently in Mid Term, End Term and the assignments. Relative grading shows you where you stand.

The college placements are one of its finest attractions, companies turn up in high numbers with a good package. 100+ companies have visited till now and numerous offers were made. The highest package this year has been 59L and the average package is 15.4L.

First placement happens for summer internships which are rolling placement it starts off at the end of August right after you join. And second is the final placement, which commences near October or September for about a month or two. The average of last year final placements were about 15 LPA. IIM Ranchi offers 100% placements for final as well as summer placements. I would love to go into the Marketing field after my degree.

Placement at IIM Ranchi is marvellous there are many MNC that comes to campus for recruitment ranging from Asian Paints, PWC, JP Morgan and Chase, Cognizant and many more. The placement provides job roles in the field of finance, operations, consultancy and strategy and marketing. This year among covid scenario all the students of the MBA and MBA HR program have been placed in the summer with paid internship. The members of the placement committee worked very hard to achieve it.
