IIM Ranchi was my first choice when I got a call for the WAT/PI process for institutes under CAP. The placement was the main attraction among all the other factors. The methodology and the experienced faculties were the second most important reason for me to select IIM Ranchi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculties here at IIM Ranchi are brilliant and the methodology they have incorporated is quite unique and greatly appreciated. Among the covid scenario through online meets, they have left no stone unturned to make us understand all the crucial subjects and enabled us to develop an interest in all the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Batch 2020-22 both MBA and MBA-HR program has seen all their students being placed in Summer internship program with paid internship. The placement committee floats a huge variety of live project throughout the year to enrich your knowledge in the corporate environment.
Placement Experience
Placement at IIM Ranchi is marvellous there are many MNC that comes to campus for recruitment ranging from Asian Paints, PWC, JP Morgan and Chase, Cognizant and many more. The placement provides job roles in the field of finance, operations, consultancy and strategy and marketing. This year among covid scenario all the students of the MBA and MBA HR program have been placed in the summer with paid internship. The members of the placement committee worked very hard to achieve it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the MBA and MBA HR program for the batch 2020-22 is 15 lakhs. There are many scholarships under GOI which you can apply for through the PGP office which also look through financial assistance.
Campus Life
Campus life at IIM Ranchi is brilliant. The library has different articles, journals and research papers from top publications all around the world which is easy to access. The clubs and committees of IIM Ranchi never let you feel that you are away from home. There are many activities that take place throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are great and the quality of the mess meal is brilliant. It provides a huge variety of menus ranging from North India's Chole Bhature to South India's Vada and Dosa. All the registration will be carried once you have enrolled on the programme.
Interview Experience
As IIM Ranchi is a part of institutes under CAP they have a WAT and PI round after the CAT result is out, mainly during February month. Every year an institute among the CAP group take the initiative to arrange the WAT/PI round. During CAT 2019 IIM Ranchi was the organizer.
