Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum seems difficult and unmanageable at first but one gets used to it with time, its hectic at the beginning but gets easier with every passing semester. The faculty is good and they work hard to teach the students the intricacies of business

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are good, we had hundreds of companies visiting the campus to offer final placement opportunities as well as summer internships to the students. The entire batch got placed quite easily.

Campus Life

The life at campus seems very difficult at first because there are a lot of things going on simultaneously but you start to get the hang of things soon enough. We had various clubs and committees at the college, they had rigorous selection procedures. Apart from that we had independent bodies and interest groups as well.

AMITY - A perfect path providers for the tech beginners

Placement Experience:

As a student of the 4th year program, one can be eligible for placements after 6th sem or by passing 3rd year and after 4th sem/2nd year, students of 3rd year program are eligible for placement processes. almost 150 companies had visited this year and around 500 students are placed in many companies like cognizant, byjus, TCS, Deloitte etc. maximum package offered is 11 LPA and the average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. on a personal note, I want to pursue MTech after BTech, so for me, these placement record somehow not matters but if someone wants to go for higher studies, this college is best suited for them as because it provides all necessary things by which you can easily get into top IIITs.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th semester are provided industrial internships and the after 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. Companies like JSLPS, BRLPS, SYNGENTA, BAYER,etc come for campus placement. Highest package offered is of 4lkhs/annum. Very few companies come for placement. Because of all this, students prefer for preparing for government jobs and Bank exams. Around 5-10% students opt for capmus placement. My plans after getting degree is to prepare for JRF exam for admission in post graduation course.

To get admisson into IIM Ranchi, first you need to clear CAT with a decent score. Post that, you need to apply to various IIMs while filling the form for CAT. Total application form fee for CAT is around 2000. After the results are being announced, you need to prepare for your GD(Group Discussions) &PI(Personal Interview) which would be around Feb-March. After getting selected, you would be asked to pay a admission fees close to 1 lakhs for confirmation. Once the admission starts, you would be asked to pay the 1st Trimester Fee. IIM Ranchi, A place to be

The admission process was tiring. The process was simple as it was through CAP Calls so we didn't have to fill a serate form. the cut off for IIM Ranchi in 2023 was 92 percentile. There was no separate application form or application fee but we did have to check the results on IIM Ranchi website for the final Call after the interview process. MBA in Business Analytics is a newly introduced course by IIM Ranchi this year. Many applicants were sceptical while applying to this course.
