Remarks
The admission exam is CAT and the admission process is through CAP round and interviews need to be qualified to take admission and anyone with graduation passed is eligible for the course. Cutoffs and percentile as per the category is released every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
IIM Ranchi has excellent faculties and curriculum designed is as per the latest industry demand of IR 4.0 and the faculties are also good and some are average as well but some are excellent. This year the batch size has been increased and a new course has been introduced as MBA-BA in analytics.
Internships Opportunities
IIM Ranchi records the 100% summer internships with the largest ever batch size and all the students were offered paid internships and the average will be somewhere around 80k for 2 months and lots of companies visited the campus like - Bain, Mc Kinsey, Airtel, BPCL, Juspay, Godrej, Google, Microsoft, ABC, Ultratech, Cognizant, Wipro, Flipkart and many others.
Placement Experience
There is 100% placement assurance and assistance from the college. For the current batch, the placements had been phenomenal with a significant increase in the mean and the median salaries and the highest is somewhere around 33 LPA for the detailed placement figures placement reports will be published as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The current fees structure is approx 17.5 lacs for the entire course and there are several scholarship schemes available as per the GOI and private institutions. Bank loans are easily available and placements are good as well.
Campus Life
There are more than 20 clubs and SIGs currently in IIM Ranchi. Talking about the campus so it is currently operational from Suchna Bhavan and the hostels are in khelgaon the new campus is under construction and almost 80% of the work been done till now.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodation is great but because of COVID we are not able to fully use the hostel facilities and talk about the mess food so the food quality is good compared to the other colleges the room allocated is of single occupancy with attached bathrooms and balcony in some of the blocks.
