My college

Likes

The teachers were cooperative & helpful. They were active during the whole course.
The bonding between teacher & students was very good.
Everyone was active towards extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have its own playground.
The management was not so active towards the core engineering branch, like their placement & all.
The lab needed to be more advanced with updated equipment.

Placement Experience:

Well in the 7th semester of final year, the students start getting placement and companies visit at this time mostly. The top hiring company is TCS, wipro, byju etc. The highest package is about 6-8 lakhs per annum for IT sector. Average package is around 2-3 lakhs per annum.

The college overall carry a good aspects for students

Likes

the faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable they provide individual attendtion especially to the students who need extra guidance, their mentorship is also good for academic projects and growth
the college also offers affordable quality education at an affordable fee structure , making it suitable for every type of students , they also offers scholarships like swami vivekananda scholarship in order to get a financial aid
the college campus is huge offers a suitable friendly environment , the environment is calm and too good for classes ,

Dislikes

some lab equipments needs to be more functional , and modernized
library should be with more resources and book though they already have much number of books but yet some more new version of the books
the internship program should get more boost along with some more access to the placement

Placement Experience:

About placement the college provides an average placement like 2.2 LPA or some more around to this and they do provide internships also the placement could have been more better the highest of 2023 placement was 2.2Lpa , companies visits like TGP packaging , IFB , Gemini communications pvt and etc

Some of the teachers are quite good for teaching
Student are some much helpfull , and union members also
The administration professors are very friendly

Dislikes

the infrastructure is not quite good for only cse and it
some of teachers dont take classes for the hole semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am truly passionate about tech and computer so that i took this course through wbjee , here the exam will be in in 6 months gap , in during the 6 month there will be 4 internals of 25 marks cal CA .

Techno international New Town

Likes

Teacher are helpful but sometimes they misbehave with the students
The campus have a healthy atmosphere and staff members are good
Canteen food is good and hostels mess are also good

Dislikes

Teacher doesn’t support students for extra activities
Ours college is in a renovation State so that cause trouble to ys
Department hod are not that Friendly And cooperative

Placement Experience:

Placement are quite good in our college. There are so many company which come to our campus in regular basis during the campus. In time recently EY cognizant TCS ion. This type of few company have already arrived in a college and so many students have been selected, but most of them are mass recruiters. But core placements are very less

Faculties are very friendly and they provide us many notes for study
Canteen is also nice qnd food is very good in college
Friends are very good in college abd it is ragging free.

Dislikes

But study in this college is average. Sometimes students cant understand study.
Sometimes students do ragging with felliw freshers.
Canteen was moderate in this college and food is moderate.

Placement is decent in this college and not many students get placement from this college as not good companies come to this college. College provides 300000 package in our placement and it is not so good for us.

Overview of Haldia Institute of Technology

Remarks:

This college is one of the best in entire state in terms of education, campus and placement records that convinced me to take admission in its B.Tech programme.I gave WBJEE(entrance exam) on February 2020All others entrance exams were cancelled due to covid situation and I am unable to attempt JEE and COMEDK due to medical reasons, so results of WBJEE were my last hope.WBJEE results were out around august or september(my rank was around 7500 approx.) I gone through the 1 month long counselling processMy rank was not good enough to get popular universities like Jadhavpur or Kalyani so, I started to search for less popular universities which I could grab on.I have been alloted MCKV in first round of counselling but on second round I got Haldia Institute of Technology and I selected it immediately, on third round i got IEM but I choose Haldia cause of good Infrastructure, better campus and facilities, and NIRF ranking of 160.

One of the worst university in the whole world I have one backlog in Mathematics from my first semester, and even after attempting the exam multiple times over three years, I have not been able to clear it. This has delayed my degree and caused me to lose an entire year. The system feels unsupportive, as students pay fees but do not receive enough help to clear even a single subject. Due to this issue, I am unable to move forward with my plans for MBA.
