Our course curriculum is actually electronics and instrumentation engineering in applied physics portion. Faculty members of our department are highly qualified and graduated from renowned institute of India. I am actually interested in electronics technology based things that's why choose this course. Students are eligible for placements in 7th semester.Many companies from the IT sector such as Microsoft, IBM,TCS,Cognigent, Infosys visit the campus.Core companies such as Samsung,L&T,Jk tyre visit the campus,In 2023 highest package was offered by Siemens,the offer was of 20 lpa lowest package was of 3.5 lakh offer from infosys.Overall 80%students get placed ,In branch es such as Polymer and Chemical engineering place ment was 97%.I will also take a job offer after my degree.

Become eligible for campus placement in the seventh semester there are a lot of companies that visit our college and a lot of offers are given the average package is around 8LPA about 90% of students get placed and RS 10% off for higher studies I want to do Higher studies

Calcutta University Engineering Department which is present in Rajabazar Science College campus in Kolkata is one of oldest technical institutes in Country. The dept. which I am studying in was established in 1925 (Applied Physics) and has rich heritage. It was until recently that CU started taking students through WBJEE because previously only the cream BSc degree holders from CU affiliated colleges in Bengal were admitted. So I feel extremely privileged to be part of this prestigious institute. Also the placement statistics for my dept. is good as 70% of students got placed this year in core sector with median CTC of 6 LPA in companies like Linde, Technip, CESC, Worley, Haldia Petrochemicals just to name a few. Considering the total fees is just THIRTY THOUSAND rupees, the ROI (Return On Investment) is best I could find in India (Other than Jadavpur University).
