- The campus is beautiful, neat and clean .
- The quality of the infrastructure and learning is quite good and remarkable .
- The collage provide travel allowance to those students who have to travel for a long distance .
Dislikes
- The campus life and the quality of social interaction is not that good . The college must have to look on to it .
- The teaching method and the mentorship quality is not good .
- The effectiveness of the placement services is not good .

The details of the internship opportunities of our collage are discussed below :
The internship opportunities are initiates by the university of calcutta .
They do not provide any stipens to students for doing the internship .

- Teachers are very helpful .. They teach very well, explain the lessons clearly.
- They help with notes , and conduct good practicals
- Collage have decent rooms , washrooms and give comfortable
Internships Opportunities:
The collage provided decent intership in other college and hospital . I am new in collage so I don't know about this in larger.. but I know little bit that our college have good internship and more projects which is help in future

- Knowledgeable and helpful professors. Professors here are well qualified and always eager to help.
- Big and clean classrooms with ac. The environment in the classrooms is quite good.
- Class size is not very big, around 45 students is perfect for a class.
Dislikes
- Shortage of professors, though the professors we have are very good and helpful, they fall short in numbers(especially in 1st year)
- Lab equipment can be better, physics and electronics lab fall short of equipment in terms both of quality and quantity.
- The curriculum teaches us the basics of what we would be needing in the professional field but it lacks the new improvements.
Internships Opportunities:
In 6th sem students get time to go for intership and stipend depends on where they land their internship.
During that time students can opt for a mini project which will act in their benefit later on.

- Best in class facilities for the labs as computer labs here are of top quality.
- Girls have complete freedom as even though the college is run by father's, girls get equal opportunities here.
Dislikes
- Very strict in attendance and dress code as one has to maintain both at all costs.
- Strictness is so rigid that personal creativity and expression too sometimes take the back seat.

Internships Opportunities:
Projects related to software development and tech building are the ones which are offered to us. Also, companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra and others which are into technology and outsourcing work, needs interns regularly and this is where SXC students benefits as we are hired first before anyone else in Kolkata.

- Assignments and projects related to industry are provided to B Com (Hons) students.
Dislikes
- Very strict dres code as we can freely move inside the campus but we can't wear what we like.
- Girls are not allowed in the morning batch as that batch is reserved only for boys.

Internships Opportunities:
Roles are depending on the companies we get intenrships at. As at some companies like the Insurance or the mutual fund groups, we are mostly put in sales. Then in stock broking firms, we are in for research roles and that is where in the SMC Global Securities I got the Internships. Stipend was very less but that certificate is more valuable than any stipend i would have recieved.

- SXC Kolkata has the best academic calendar as it has taken care that students should get unwinding time too.
- Students have started and incubation centre and have brought in sponsors to fund start-ups.
Dislikes
- College timings are not for lazy people like me as the lectures begin as early as 6 am.
- If one hasn't made it to the college football team, he is not allowed to play on the turf.
- Dress code is also very strict as even on days we are allowed civil uniforms, we still can't wear if it's not traditional.
Internships Opportunities:
We have been asked to edit our CVs and add skills that we have and which we learn during the college hours. As based on that our intenrships and placements cell provide us intenrships in the domain we want. Most of us are itno finance and therefore it's the Fintech or financial institutions where we get internships through college.

- College has enough security as everyone inside the campus can feel as secured as they want to.
- College auditorium is the best part of our whole infrastructure as it has been upgraded and it's now of highest standards.
- Students quality is amazing as most of them are the ones who have scored over 90% so one can imagine the kind of intellectualness they must be having.
Dislikes
- Dress code is mandatory and without that entry is denied.
- Since I am in the morning college of SXC our classes starts as early as 6 am daily.

Internships Opportunities:
IT or the finance companies where junior accountant roles are available is where we get intenrships opportunities at. College has a policy that certificate and stipend amount offering companies are the only one invited at our campus.

- Placements are quality and luckily both morning and evening college gets same opportunity for placements.
- Infrastructure is amazing and has everything inclusive be it a great library or best auditorium.
- Faculties are top level as all of them have secured medals from their respective universities from they come.
Dislikes
- There has to have a hostel as most students are outsiders.
Internships Opportunities:
FactR, MG Global and Sales and some other came through college for intenrships rounds. So it was tough to get through but lucky to counter one and that too at a stipend of 14000 which was more than what I expected.

- SXC has a library which is bigger than that of Calcutta University.
- Our college also has a bakery and it is best desert centre.
- We also have two auditoriums and guest lectures and events are also held in those auditoriums.
Dislikes
- Since we have all three branches of Science, Commerce and Arts, it is an over crowded campus.
Internships Opportunities:
EY and Banks are regular in providing intenrships to students of SXC. EY pays atleast 20k stipend and some students have been offered two months long intenrships as well. Our college students are first choice students for any company operating in Kolkata.

- Highly competent and qualified faculty that teaches well. Fairly interactive classes.
- High level of discipline - leads to better character growth needed for the corporate world.
- Large amount of extra-curriculars offered - helps students build their profile outside of academics.
Dislikes
- Outdated infrastructure - no air conditioners in a class room of 80 people with four people sitting in one bench.
- Excessive academic and social pressure - almost feels like a school
- Unfriendly administration - while professors are friendly enough, administration and security staff may come off and unapproachable
Internships Opportunities:
The placement cell has provided more than a 100 internship opputunities in this colleges. There are various internships or all courses available round the year. Students from every year have access to internship opportunities. These range from work in startups to corporate roles in well established companies.
