My wbjee rank provide me this college.this is the best college which i got by my rank. My father like electrical engineering so i choose this course. From beginning i didn't have any idea about any engineering courses. The think i like most in the college is the college environment. i think it is the one of the family friendly environment that i have seen ever.

Mostly positive remarks. Though as the university is under west Bengal govt the funding is less thus the facilities are sometimes lesser than IITs. The processes are still carried on by khata, using computers in data management of University hasn't make a way. Thus making the process very slow.

Jadavpur University takes admission only through WBJEE. Before 2019 there was no home state quote, however, from 2019, the university added a 90% domicile system for West Bengal students. Now the admission process is quite similar to JOSAA. Everyone has to fill choices and then seats are allotted according to rank. After getting a document verification certificate from reporting center visit the university on the dates given on their website. After the necessary verification of the documents, all the original ones will be returned except the document verification certificate issued by reporting center. They will keep a self-attested photocopy of the documents. The admission occurs in July month. This university is one the best in India for engineering and its return of investment is awesome. I'm very much obliged to the university for providing me the degree in technical education and it also provided opportunity for exploring a number of placement options with good and reputable companies.

This is the best place if you want education with fun at the minimum cost. The courses are not so heavily overworked so people have time to do things of their own. The fees are not high and at the same time placements and admission to other top colleges are high.

One can complete Bachelor of Engineering here just for Rs. 10,000. This allows students from all kinds of background come together and study and study without a burden of loans. Another positive thing remains the inclusive culture.

Mindless student politics is a parasite to this university. There are people who act like phd scholar and resides in the campus for almost a generation are the most politically motivated students. Externally they would brain wash any one by saying wrong doing of authorities and government but at the end all they want is entry to the university faculty list by the influence and connection they created over the years of student politics.

No Negative remarks about our college. everything is good here. Starting from the infrastructure then the faculty, the seniors , the passouts all are a family. It is a home away from home.
