Since I am in my Mtech so from 2nd year that is the third semester during our project we can start applying in career development centre for our campus placements the various companies visit out campus every year with my offer and average package of 10 lpa to maybe 1 crore so basically the average pack is lies around 8 LP and highest package this year I can say it was one crore for year or for Anamika se percentage of student getting place on the type of batch so in an average 70% students are placed restor going in PSU after the degree I plan to go for a Consulting company if I get it from a college I'll try but I'll try in of Campus also

In mtech , students can sit for placement from 3rd sem onward and for Btech students if they are in final year they are eligible . This year for session 2022-2023 , 1600 plus offer within 12 days of placement and 900 plus internship offers came (info from CDC IIT KGP). AS far as my own course IIE electrical dept. cocern highest package is 49 LPA offered by qualcomm . apart from that intel , IBM , Texas instruments and many more company visited . Due to the layoffs and recession they offer less seat this year but overall it was good

I choose this course as i have the interest in water resource field and wanted to do something in this field only. The number of faculty is good as compared to no. Of students. In our course there are 5 faculties and more number of phd who assist. All the faculties have done phd and are highly qualified. Rhere is one mid sem one end sem and they are of moderate level.

In terms of placement, the college is one of the most popular. The highest salary offer at the college was 1 CPA, while the average income offer was roughly 20 LPA. The college has a very good track record of 100% placement. The members of the college placement committee are very knowledgeable, and they assist us in every way possible during the college placement rounds. The return on investment in education is excellent.

Placements of an IIT are always great. It is the first destination of some multi-national companies for recruitment. Our previous batch observed 1600 placement offers being made to the students including 35 international offers. Highest CTC went to Rs. 2.4 CPA. Sectors like software, Analytics, Consulting, Core Analytics, banking, finance made job offers. Barclay, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Microsoft, MasterCard, Dr. Reddy, Tata Steel, and many such others participated in the week.

The college placement standards are very good and the college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee is very hardworking and they really do a commendable job in helping us to get placed. If we want to take part in the placement process we have to register our name with the placement committee and they make sure that every one of us is placed as per our interest and stream. Around 100+ companies visit our campus during the college placement drive. The highest package was around 1 CPA and the average salary package was around 14.30 LPA.

The college placement is superb. The college provides one of the best returns on investment. The college placement committee is helpful and professional they totally help us guide us and they make sure that every participating student is placed with a good amount of package. The highest package for our batch went up to 65 LPA and the average package went up to 22 LPA. Companies like Barclay, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Microsoft, MasterCard, Dr Reddy, Tata Steel, Accenture, TSMC, Sony, Rakuten, etc took part in the placement drive of the college.

IIT KGP has one of best placement rate in the country, specially for MTECH students. I got places in INTEL technology India private limited at first chance from the campus placement and it was very good experience overall. Same holds true for other specialty too.

IIT KGP has more than 90% of its bachelor's and master's placements, the students have their placement exams happening during the period of September to February. The final-year students are allowed to appear for the placement exams. There are over 200 companies that participate in the annual placement which include day-old recognized organizations and start-ups too. The placements have various designations like support engineers and executives, junior engineers, software engineers, android app developers, web developers, etc. Students have been also offered international jobs from countries like Taiwan, the USA, Germany, Japan, and Singapore. Companies like Microsoft, Taiwan semiconductors, uber, amazon are some of the top tier companies which offer jobs to students.
