- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

From 3 Rd year they are eligible for campus interview and we can do internship with our profs at any year highest salary was around 2 crores I guess mean package is like 29 lpa for ece almost 85 percent gets placed here my plans after degree is attend placement and interview

- The college campus is very big and beautiful. The Thomson building here attracts the most. And the weather here is also quite nice.
- The new hostels of the college are very nice and beautiful.
- Some professors of my department teach very well, and they also guide well.
Dislikes
- The quality of food in the mess here is not that good and the management of the old hostel is also not good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My subject is related to research or I found my subject quite interesting so I chose it. The course curriculum of my subject is quite good. In the 1st semester, a lot of basic knowledge is taught which is enough to strengthen the subject. There are two main exams in a semester MTE and ETE. MTE timing is 1.30 hourse and two exams per day. ETE timing is 3 hours and one exam per day. Apart from these, quizzes and practicals are also held. It is bit diffcult to manage all these because apart from these, the student also has many things to which he has to pay attention.

Placement Experience:
As It's An Iit Placements Are Excellent. Every Year Top Mncs, Companies, And Psu Visit Our Campus For Placement Seasons. Placement Season Is Divided In 3 Phases Starts In The Last Week Of November.
Various Companies Like Google, Apple, Microsoft, L&T, Goldman Sachs, Bmw, Audi Etc visit campus And Offer Anuaal Ctc Starting From 25Lpa And Goes Around 2Cr+.
Around 90% of Students Get Whooping Offers Every Year. The Remaining 10% Opt For Higher Studies, Upsc Etc.
Right Now I'M Preparing For Placements.

- The campus life is cool. Good ecosystem of societies, infrastructure and peer group for self development.
- Knowledgeable faculty members who provide deep insights into conceptual knowledge.
- Focus on application of knowledge via practical sessions, industrial visits, etc.
Dislikes
- Often there is rigidity in the education protocols. Needs to be more liberal.
- Less Integration and exposure of undergrad students into research works.
- Less collaboration between Seniors and juniors.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good. Specially Computer Science guys get high package. Core sector companies also visit the college. Even many PSUs come to college to recruit. Even without a campus placement, lot of opportunities for off campus placement with an IIT tag and a strong alumni network.

- I Liked the coding culture here and that help students alot to crack interviews for big tech companies during their college placements.
- This campus includes a beautiful green campus. It consist of wide variety of flora and fauna at campus.

Dislikes
- Due to politics of students support system many deserving candidates cant get into their interested groups.
- Here most of the peoples are confused about their career and dont getting the right path for their career.
- Peoples make fun of workshops and the experiments during the festivals.
Placement Experience:
This year placement season is drastically decreasing due to recession going in the companies and some of our seniors are getting placed in the good companies rather than the recession. Companies visited this year are Google, Microsoft JP Morgan and Chase, Oracle, Qualcon, Texas Instruments etc. The highest package is 2.01 crore, and the average package for the companies is approximately 27 to 20 30 lakhs per annum. Most of the students are getting placed, and I also plan to take placement from our college.

- the online attendees in classes very frustrating

- lack of indoor facility of sports and also participation is very difficult
Placement Experience:
from 7th semster i am elgible for campus placement. companies begin their selection process and from 1 december intervies begins. it ended in april.
total around 500 companies visited
highest is 3 cr and averge is 15 lakh
in my branch around 80 % students are placed.
my plan is simple do the where i got placed in company the prepare for other goverment exam related to my branch in engginerring fild

- Sports facilities are very good in our campus we can play and learn any sports any time.
- Swimming pool is too good in our campus and it is open 24*7 everyday
- Main building in our campus is like a Taj Mahal for us everytime we see it we adore it more.

- Academic pressure is way too much handle professor got no chills.
Placement Experience:
We are eligible from the 7th semester and till the end of the 8th semester until we get placed. The highest package is 2.16 crore by Quantbox as a quant researcher. Only 60% of the students got placed this year this year but on average every got placed until this year.

I have opted for electrical engineering based on my jee advanced score ,i would rate decent and highly tough here as competition is quite good and it more high then jee was as all students are good rankers. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.

- Clubs are very interesting in our college we can pursue every technical aspects since the first year of our college.
- Fests are very enjoyable in our college and we cannot bored in our college for a single moment.
- Every students gets placed in IIT Roorkee around 90% of the students gets what they want according to the expectations.
Dislikes
- Girls are very less in IIT's and IIT Roorkee should work in the gender equality factor.
- Campus life gets bored sometimes and departments can get leniant in attendance matter.

In 7th Semester Students becomes eligible for campus placements. Google, microsoft, GS, JPMC and many other companies are visited and numbers of offers made are 900+. Highest package are offered around 2.5 cr and average package of the whole campus is around 10.5 lpa. Various profiles are offered by the companies including core and non-core profiles. Around 80% of students are placed.
My plans is to pursue higher studies in my core field.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
