IIT ROORKEE - Campus review

Course curriculaum is well designed here because many will placed in core baranches so ofcourse its course curriculum is designed in better way. Teaching of some of the profs are good some will adopt the modern technic but some are still belings to old school. We have to time exams in the term. Mid term is for one and half hour and end term of 3 hours.

We have two internship opportunities one is at the Sparc Foundation, and the other is under any proof you want to work. It will also be included in the internship opportunity and have to work with Spark Foundation, which is an internship provided in the summer vacations for students from all areas and Nits and iits to work on specific projects and show off in their regime and the stipend provided by the Spark Foundation is 10,000 per month.

This year placement season is drastically decreasing due to recession going in the companies and some of our seniors are getting placed in the good companies rather than the recession. Companies visited this year are Google, Microsoft JP Morgan and Chase, Oracle, Qualcon, Texas Instruments etc. The highest package is 2.01 crore, and the average package for the companies is approximately 27 to 20 30 lakhs per annum. Most of the students are getting placed, and I also plan to take placement from our college.

Tuition fee is free for ST / SC students and the policy for increasing other tuition fee I dont remember it precisely but it is well maintained and no hikes in the fee policy. No everything is included in fee structure no extra charges will be taken from students scholarships are provided to the students who are belonging to NED families and some of the scholarships like NSP

The overall campus life is good at this campus because facilities are well maintained, and hostel facilities are too good that students can Hangout and meet for an evening coffee or chai from the social media aspect; life is good, and nothing is more required for social life here every one is focusing on their career talking about the club involvement.

Hostel facilities include a Gym, Canteen, TV Room and a games room for the students and in our room, an imperfect table and a well-maintained wifi connection are given in the room the food provided in the maze and the quality of the food is so good that the students can eat the mini is well maintained by our mesh secretary we have a registration process for a hostel is so easy. We have not rented any room or PG in our locality.

Admissions are based on your rank in the joint entrance examination in that particular year. The whole process is going online on the website Josaa, and reservation benefits are on the basis of cash and PWD categories. The exams are of two types: the JEE Mans and JEE advanced. jee main's are basically for Nits, and JE advanced R4 Iits, and their difficulty levels are every time different, but JEE is the second most challenging exam in India, and I don't feel that they have to improvement in the admission process

students-faculty ratio is far better 12 students per faculty and they all are well-educated and experience holder. Dr. Vinay Pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department. They provide good mentorship during the project work. We can interact profs anytime via mail but it is better to reach them at day time.
