- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- Campus is really beautiful and lush green. It feels like heaven in sprint when you saw lots of flowers around you.
- Campus life is socially very active. There is a good club culture of different fields. Student can join any club according to their interest
- Teaching method is also very good. There is a good balance of lectures, tutorials and practical In a week.
Dislikes
- Someone can easily be distracted from his/her goals. You have to be focused and have to ignore and have to stay away from such things.
- Some courses are very old and they keep teaching it by conventional methods.
- On campus placement and internships is not very easy. Only circuital branches have good number of offers.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester student can apply for placement and from 5th semester student can apply for interships.
There are lots of companies including software, finance, business, and many other fields.
Percentage of students placed varies from branch to branch. It's very good for circuital branches where it is not so good for others.

campus placements happend in 2 rounds first is internships which happens at the end of 3rd year that is 6th semester , companies visits campus so you apply through a portal and than there are test and then interviews

- Academic Pressure is not so much as compared to other IIT’s so the student will learn many things apart from academic
- There are so many fests and events and all of them are organised by students so the students will surely learn many things from managing that events
- There are so many resources and opportunities in every field including academic and non academic activities like research, sports, dance, music, acting, singing, etc.
Dislikes
- The main thing a student see in an IIT is placement so the Placement cell needs to be improved means more placement opportunities will be needed
- The worst thing in IIT is Mess food🤮 There is no taste in Sabji and there is lot of Aata in Roti
- Behaviour of professor needs to be improved some professors are really having a very good behaviour but some are very strict and rude infact they don’t hear when you problem is genuine
Placement Experience:
In the mid of 7th semester companies tests are started
Many big companies came to our college for placements like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Samsung, JLR, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, American Express, etc. So this year nearly about 900 offers were made by different different companies.
Highest package is of 1.5 crores and the average is about 25 lpa
So this year nearly about 1600 students are sit for placements but only 800-900 got placements till now.
So basically i am placed in a company named EXL so i would join this and work hard.

From the 7th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements , The placement corporations include TCS, Google, Microsoft,gms etc highest packages go upto 15 crores and average of 14 lacks and 90 percent of Students are placed.

Placement is quite decent at IIT Roorkee nearly all students finally get placed. Also some go for higher studies like ms,mba or prepare for competitive exams like UPSC,cds,nda and many more. I myself plan to opt for a job related to software dev.

- Some administrative processes at IIT Roorkee can be cumbersome and slow. Streamlining these procedures and making them more student-friendly would improve the overall experience.Also the teacher are qualified but their teaching method are not so good
- Incorporating more interdisciplinary courses and collaborations can provide a broader educational experience. Introducing more courses that focus on emerging technologies and cross-disciplinary skills would be advantageous.

- My college gives freedom of living and allowance to roam or to participate in different social clubs which is good part. I also like aesthetics of college specially the IIT Roorkee Main building which represents every iitR student.
- My college also provides the great hostel facilities specially the concept of single room which enhanced my college experience. I also like how academics is managed without any burden semester course might be not that tough.
- There is no restriction like no hostel timings , you can even go out of college at late nights. btw college is late night trip friendly. College has every sporting facility and also has a temple, mosque as well as a church.
Dislikes
- Hostel checking is a bit problematic still warden is friendly.
- Everyone in campus is very serious about studies.
- Night life at college is only for couples.
Placement Experience:
1. After 6 semester students become eligible for campus placements
2. Companies like google, facebook,microsoft, paytm, accenture, goldman sac, wipro, zomato, flipkart etc.
737 out of 824 were placed last year.
3. According to me Highest was 1.2 cr and lowest was about 8 lpa.

For projects, most of our alumni suggest making a unique or different project. Some other companies like Adobe, jio, sprinkler and many more

- Academics-We have well structured syllabus for all courses available along with best of professors with best knowledge in their subjects.
- Sports:we have all kinds of sports available ranging from indoor to outdoor be it tennis lawn, cricket ground, football ground , swimming court and many more. Also each hostel has their won games room available with plenty of exciting games including
- Infrastructure:Our campas has best of infrastructure available. All the roads and properly connected, departments well equipped and hostels well renovated.

- Mess food:I do not appreciate mess food om my hostal as i beleive that they lack in quality which should be served. Moreover there is not much variety available which again adds a negative impact
- Library:I do not like library of my collage as no doubt its too big and too many books available as well as well equipped with AC giving plenty of comfort to students who wants to study but it closes at 12:00 in night which i disliked
Placement Experience:
Campus placement are very good. We sit for placement in 8th semester . Around 1300 student sit for placement and almost 1150 students successful get the job. Average package is around 28,lakh and median is 25 lakhs

- Academics are given the most preference but the things taught here are old school stuffs.
- very High competition in there as all are school toppers
- mental health of student is ignored many times.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
