Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for electrical engineering based on my jee advanced score ,i would rate decent and highly tough here as competition is quite good and it more high then jee was as all students are good rankers. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters.

Internship start in our college at 3rd year , companies start coming in 3rd year of our college.and placement for the final year students Companies such Google, Microsoft quant company, Texas instruments and Qualcomm

Yes college provide scholarship based on the income criteria cer6my district administration.like Thomson scholarship for the students whos rank are below 250 and MCM scholarship provided to those who has rank 10k

Yes campus Life is quite hectic,we have to prepare for both the activities academic as well as sports that's physical activities.books are provided free of cost . All classroom are ac surrounded. We have to engage any clubs for POR position of responsibility

Hostal facilities are quite good in IIT ROORKEE.we have open lawn and garden to play indoor and outdoor games , hostal also provide gym facilities and .mess is something we can think of that ,mess is not that much of poor quality but decent food are provided

Admission process was littlebit typical basically we have to go through jee mains paper and jee advanced after qualifying for advanced,we have to appear for the jee advanced and accordingly ranks are come with respective to marks and college allocated

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. To get into IIT's you have give jee mains and then advance and then you get your college according to your rank. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
