I choose this course because i have very strong foundation on my concepts since 11th class in chemistry so i choose to opt the chemical engineering with polymer as a minor. The curriculum prepares you for real-world applications and for the pursuing of research field as well. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum can be more of real-world application rather than doing experiments which are used to be best in 2000-2005 or more older we can try to encourage more students to pursue that particular field which they opt to choose and can pursue the reasearch in that area. The frequency and timing of exams are four times per year which include two mid term exam and two end term exam.

All the companies which come in placements come for internships as well with stipend ranging from 50000-400000. We can do core projects for availing the offer in core companies and to get offer in software companies we have to do competitive programming.

In 7th Semester Students becomes eligible for campus placements. Google, microsoft, GS, JPMC and many other companies are visited and numbers of offers made are 900+. Highest package are offered around 2.5 cr and average package of the whole campus is around 10.5 lpa. Various profiles are offered by the companies including core and non-core profiles. Around 80% of students are placed. My plans is to pursue higher studies in my core field.

The complete cost of my education if i consider the OBC-reservation and full-fee waivier scheme then it is around 76000. I come from Madhya Pradesh so there is option for taking Medhavi and rest can avail from full-fee waivier. I have taken Two job roles one as a internship and other as a full-time offer from the campus placements. Stipend awarded in the internship is 20000 and in full-time it is 60000

The names of the annual festivals are Thomso (15-17 Oct), Cognizance (generally in March), E-summit (14-16 Feb), NSS-summit (27-29 Jan), Sangram(April first week) and Civil conclave(Anytime) and chemicool (May first week). We can avail any book whatever we want from MGCL IIT Roorkee it offer a vast range of books and if it can't provide then they try to negotiate and give to the students. Classrooms are well-furnished and technically sound and all the infrastructure are very good in our campus. Every sports indoor and outdoor are available in our college. IIT Roorkee clubs are well known all over india and they create a very meaningful impact on students life like they learn how to work in team environment and handles pressure of deadlines.

In our room one tea table and study table and fully-furnished room with a laundary. Meal quality are very good and rated as five-star and menu are decided by the students. Registration Process for Hostel are done by the institute only when we do admission and hostels are very affordable. We can't rented a room or PG in our institute there is no option available for the students to avail that facility.

Eligibilty of the course:- Nil I have given Jee Advanced for the Admission in the college. I Availed reservation benefits as a OBC-NCL which gives around 27% reservation according to the government standard. The frequency of the exam is one-time each year held in may. The areas of improvement in the admission process can be based on the particular a student want to opt for the admission. Paper can set around that branch so that it can help to clear the basics and more students want to pursue research either of everyone choosing technical background either is from Circuital branch or any different branch.
