GEU is a peach of a university!

It's nothing which have Influenced or I can say that when I decided engineering and GEU to be the place, the university itself organized a conference in which they taught the same. So, I attended that and then a proper counselling held and I made it clear looking at the way CSE will shape the future.

IT companies as CSE is for them who wants a white collar IT job. Top IT companies have recruited students from our university for intenrships and 2-4 months intenrships has been done by many in our university with a stipend as high as 60-90k.

At our university, campus placements are for real the best. Hundreds of companies have networked with us and all of them have been very regular in our university. Companies which have visited are also increasing every year and students percentage of getting placed and getting better packages is also getting better.

Graphic Era University fees is little heavy as the university is a premium university and we have paid premium fees to study here. Our fees for CSE Core is 5 lakhs and for other courses it's a little less. Scholarships more than as per category here it is on merit. This makes things simplified and deserving students get the scholarship on merit.

Graphic Era University is not that depe down inside but ya whatever area we have, our university have built it with beautiful planning. As each blocks are at some distance and every department block has their own things in that block. We also have central facilities as well like the central library, computer centre is common for all.

GECET is the source of admission in our university. After the scores students are alloted seats as for CSE a certain score is fixed by the university and then we have a lot of pool period in that as well. So admission are unlike central University admission are little easy here.

Firstly the best thing is that our university has killed the culture of having old professors as instead of having highly experienced old lecturers, our university has decided to go for young and recent studied people. Yes experience is something which our faculty lacks but we still have one of the best studied people as they have all done their studies in the same field and passed with flying colours.

Our college is in outskirts of Dehradun and therefore we have to travel 4-5 miles to see areas like the Rajpur Road or FRI. Sahastra Dhara is around 12 miles and at 15 miles we have Maldevta which is my personal favourite hangout spot.
