Our cllg placements are also top notch. The highest package are in crores. And the median package is around 20 LPA . All students get good jobs. About 85 percent students gets placed every year . Microsoft,Google , Netflix etc company visits every year

- our campus is an open campus so we have more freedom to explore the city.
- the overall coding culture is very inclusive and supportive for anyone who has the will to learn.
- The teachers and seniors are very supportive and help us in any and all situations.

- The campus being an open campus also has it's disadvantages as anyone can enter our campus without any sort of check.
- IIT BHU has a very old campus so the infrastructure is not at par with other institutes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the course curriculum here is really good, we are not only forced to read books and mug up our answers but we also get to do a lot of lab work which gives us a lot of practical experience which are at par with real-world industry standards, the exams are held 2 times per semester i.e mid-sems and end-sems, each exam differs in difficulty based on the faculty and course.

- Well qualified intellectual faculties ,proper workshop to provide valuable industrial exposure and cutting edge technology.
- Food is great ,all kind of mess are available to provide south indian ,north indian and satvik food. Seperate tables for Veg and non-veg items.
- DIfferent clubs like Aeromodelling club, club of programmers ,Automotive club ,Business club ,E-cell etc to explore as per your interest.
Dislikes
- Though the college is investing a lot of efforts and money to improve infrastructure ,there is still need for development .
Placement Experience:
Many student gets PPOs in 3rd year and placements starts in the fourth year of the B-tech.Many companies such as Google,Meta,Goldman Sachs,Zomato, TCS,Jaguar, Land-Rower etc comes and visits the campus. Almost 80 %(mechanical) of students get hired .

- The Enviorment and the diverse people around make the stay interesting and unique.
- The Courses include deep research and high thinking which makes you industry ready.
- The faculty is top notch and Labs are fully equipped.
Dislikes
- Hostels are allotted randomly so roommate issues.
- Due to change in Enviorment Health is likely to be troubled and to add toppings no quality healthcare is available nearby.
- Very Hard Competition and Open Campus causes lots of mental stress.
Placement Experience:
Placements are very good, and students also get intern opportunities; placement starts from the 7th semester and about 150 companies visited this year, making about 1200 offers. Highest packages can go up to 1crore with lowest being 6LPA about 75% grt placed and others pursue higher studies I for myself am looking to get placed.

Placement are good many big companies like Google, facebook, Amazon, meta and such companies came their is no doubt that placements will make u sad, you have to complete for them but their will be plenty of opportunities

- Very good atmosphere,religious place kashi , mesmerising view of ganga river , good food , better place thn delhi , huge campus , nice peoples , safe for girls
- Good infrastructure, histrionic colleges buildings,good hostel rooms ,
- No language barrier, Every one speak hindi .
Dislikes
- Huge crowds, open campus , far from delhi .
- Far from airport (20 + km distance) , sharing campus .
- Many outsider used to visit because of open campus , hostel room alotted for 3 people.

- As it's an IIT , the college provides exposure to many field whether it is related to technical aspects, business aspects or someone who has a keen interest to become a entrepreneur.
- The campus of the institute is very big and elegant and it contains a temple at the centre which is the point of attraction and shows its culture. The campus is well connected to the city and can be easily approached to any means of transport easily.
- The institute contains clubs and cells which conducts various program to develop more skills and to earn a bit and give exposure to management. The fest like Kashiyatra , Technex , etc provide oppurtunities to students to grow themselves.
Dislikes
- The campus is an open campus which means that anyone can enter the premises which can create a threat like earlier some cases happen to girls regarding their security.
- The campus is shared by two more colleges which sometimes create a nuisance which lead to create a panic problem sometimes.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester you are eligible for placdements under certain conditionss. Highest package is about 70 lac in our depatmment (non core) and in core its 40 lac. More that 70 percent get placed in the companies

- So cool and calm environment.No ragging as such. Academics is relaxed.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not so good.it could have been better.
Placement Experience:
The placement drive of our college is really really good.This year it is dropped a little but you can see 85% placement and 15lpa+ median package in almost all branches.despite if you not get placement you can go for further studies or apply for off campus jobs.

- The freedom of iit bhu. The freedom to keep bikes and scooters in campus.

Quite high placements are held every year. All the major companies like google microsoft apple tata and several other companies come for on campus placement. Almost all gets places apart from those who choose not to sit in the placements

- People around the campus and the security staff
- Management and security during any fests
- It is an open campus meaning outsiders can enter campus without any verification during daylight
Placement Experience:
Placements are very good but as recession is hurting every job there is the placements have fallen down a bit.
Various big companies visit the campus every year such as Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Amazon , etc
The highest package was around 45 LPA and the lowest was arou 7 LPA
Percentage keeps verying every year and due to recession we can't confirm the percentage of students placed.

What are the views of IIT-BHU students about Kashi Utkarsh?

My friend is an alumnus of IIT-BHU and he was a member of the Kashi Utkarsh too. He claims the organization is doing really well in eradicating the prevalent social constraints through the collective efforts of the group. The body convinces the financially weak families living in Varanasi slums to send their children to schools with the help of KU funding.
As easy as this may sound, the actual process is very tiring. The families are hell-bent against education and persuading them is a big task. The relentless efforts of the team members of KU and their compassion to serve the weak have brought massive changes in society.
However, some students of the institute don’t give KU the respect they deserve and are not ready to spend a single penny claiming that KU pockets the funds themselves.
If you visit the social media handles of the KU members, you will find a list of children who get into the formal education system along with their school fees being paid by KU. Dictionary the constant assistance from professors like Prof. Ashim Mukherjee with KU helps KU stay strong.

What are the changes that took place in the college after IT-BHU got converted into IIT BHU?

My friend was a student at IIT BHU and he witnessed a number of changes as the IT BHU got converted into IIT BHU.
- The Vishwakarma hostel became a 3 storied building
- Kashi yatra, the annual socio-cultural festival of IIT(BHU) Varanasi stayed open till 10.
- The grading system first changed to absolute from relative and then finally back to relative grading.
- Mid-semester tests were introduced in place of class tests.
- One of the sandwich shops became a complete multi-storied restaurant.
- The Chemical Engineering department was updated in many ways.
- The students were no longer allotted single rooms.
- The campus facilities were improved including the Internet connections.
- The 90 % attendance rule was introduced.
- The institute got 3 new directors.
These were some of the changes my friend witnessed after the IT BHU got transformed into IIT BHU.

My review of IIT BHU will be based on some very common parameters.
- Infrastructure: The academic buildings are not air-conditioned and are equipped with obsolete instruments. The hostels are surrounded by natural beauty but the living conditions are pathetic with cramped rooms and dirty toilets. The poor LAN connections are a major major problem here.
- Faculty: The faculty again is very disappointing. some even lack basic knowledge and some are too arrogant to guide the students. The answer sheets are checked in a disorganized way and the pedagogy adopted is old school. So here, you will have to completely depend on self-study.
- Research: The majority of the faculty focuses on administrative tasks and fails to encourage students to research work. The institute has no globally recognized research work to date.
- Facilities: The library has poorly organized books and lacks good study material. The LAN network is another major issue faced by students here. The departments are closed by 6 ok and the library is locked by 10 pm. This is a major hindrance during exams.
- Campus life: The frequent student activities make the campus life of IIT BHU lively and dynamic. A number of activities are organized in IIT-Gymkhana by the students and Kashi Yatra is the annual cultural festival of the institute. There are amazing sports facilities like huge grounds and fields for Cricket, Football, Badminton, and Tennis.
- Placements: IIT BHU has one of the best placements among the top IITs. Currently, IIT Bhu Placements 2023 is being held and around 474 offers and 305 PPOs have been made. IIT BHU's highest CTC was recorded at INR 1.2 CPA. A total of 117 recruiters took part in IIT BHU Placements 2023. Top recruiters included Airbnb India, Uber, Microsoft, Accenture, Piramal, etc. Last year the highest CTC stood at INR 2.05 CPA which was offered by UBER.
Overall, IIT BHU is a great choice if you are willing to sacrifice the hostel conditions and self-study.

Pharmaceutical Society and Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, IIT (BHU) organize the Nation's largest pharmaceutical fest-SPIRIT.
SPIRIT is an annual fest of pharmaceutical engineering & Tech. branch of IIT(BHU). It is a national level event where pass out students can also participate. Pharma and medical enthusiasts from the country come together in this two-day fest to encapture new ideas and innovations to bring out the best of the participants. There are many competitions where you can compete to share and gain knowledge and ideas. Workshops and seminars are also organized. IIT(BHU) is the only IIT having a pharma branch, that's why it is the best college of pharma. The Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology, IIT (BHU) was established in 1932.
If someone wants to pursue higher studies in pharmacy, SPIRIT gives a platform to meet the best professors and students. SPIRIT is also a good platform if you want your research paper to be published by showcasing here to many professional pharmaceutical organizations.
