- The campus being an open campus also has it's disadvantages as anyone can enter our campus without any sort of check.
- IIT BHU has a very old campus so the infrastructure is not at par with other institutes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think the course curriculum here is really good, we are not only forced to read books and mug up our answers but we also get to do a lot of lab work which gives us a lot of practical experience which are at par with real-world industry standards, the exams are held 2 times per semester i.e mid-sems and end-sems, each exam differs in difficulty based on the faculty and course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee without any remissions is 100000 but with remissions, it goes down to 33333 for general with income between 1-5 lpa, there are also many scholarships which can be availed about which the college constantly provides the students with updates, although there are no campus employments the scholarships provide a lot of help to the students, many banks also provide financial loan services which can be availed.
Campus Life
The campus life is one of the best as IIT BHU is an open campus we have a lot of freedom to be around in the city and enjoy ourselves, our college also hosts a lot of fest across the year including a cultural fest, a technical fest and a sports fest, each clubs also host their own mini-fest all round the year also there are a lot of clubs in which student get a sense of unity and a community as one.
Admission
IIT BHU takes admissions through JEE Advanced as far as I know general ranks upto 25000 were admitted across all the branches, all the forms and details are provided at the JEE Advanced official website, the advanced paper is held once here students need to give two papers 3 hours each.
Faculty
The faculty here is very supportive and quite the expert in their respective fields, each faculty has at least a masters in their field, they are very helpful and solve our doubts when asked, they also provide us ample time to clear our doubts, anytime we want to meet with the faculty they give us time.
