Pros and Cons of joining IIT BHU

I was interested in the chemical field so I chose chemical engineering. Faculties here are awesome. They are highly qualified as well. There are two exams in each sem(mid term + end term)+ quiz+ lab+ assignment. Mid-term examination happens 1 month after the start of each semester and the end sem happens 4 months of starting of each sem.

You can get internships from 2nd year itself. But I have no clear idea about the stipend which given. There are research internships, paid internships. Tech internships. You can get them according to your skillset

The placement drive of our college is really really good.This year it is dropped a little but you can see 85% placement and 15lpa+ median package in almost all branches.despite if you not get placement you can go for further studies or apply for off campus jobs.

There are many scholarships for poor students. Like all IITs here poor students get compensation in tuition fees. Family income below 1 lakh- 100% tuition fee off Family income below 5 lakh-75% off There are several other scholarships as well and you will easily get an education loan.

There are so many annual fests. You can get books from the library at any time. Classrooms are well equipped with ac, projectors, speakers, etc. There are photography, music, acting, and coding clubs. You cake part on them

Hostels are really good. Good quality of food is served. There are different menu on different days. Hostel fees is 15000 per sem.registration process is not so hectic. One room is for three persons.you will get two almirah.

You have qualify jee mains then jee advanced under 16000 rank(general gender neutral) if you want to get admission in this college. You have to apply for this college through josaa counseling after jee advanced result. There are reservation benefits as well (40%) for female candidates and sc,st,obc,ews candidates.

Faculties are really really good. They are always there for help.you can go to there office for help.They are highly qualified also. Many of them are itself iitians or PhD from overseas.the passion is there for teaching.
