Likes
- As it's an IIT , the college provides exposure to many field whether it is related to technical aspects, business aspects or someone who has a keen interest to become a entrepreneur.
- The campus of the institute is very big and elegant and it contains a temple at the centre which is the point of attraction and shows its culture. The campus is well connected to the city and can be easily approached to any means of transport easily.
- The institute contains clubs and cells which conducts various program to develop more skills and to earn a bit and give exposure to management. The fest like Kashiyatra , Technex , etc provide oppurtunities to students to grow themselves.
Dislikes
- The campus is an open campus which means that anyone can enter the premises which can create a threat like earlier some cases happen to girls regarding their security.
- The campus is shared by two more colleges which sometimes create a nuisance which lead to create a panic problem sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well up to the point from the second year onwards . In the first year the curriculum prefers to teach the all students , the basics of each branch. The course provides detailed knowledge regarding construction and each aspects of civil engineering. The curriculum gives theoritical as well as the practical knowledge. The course sholud provide more practical knowledge. The difficulty is similar like the graph of Sin(x) that means difficulty first rises then at the end it decreases.
Internships Opportunities
You can take on campus oor off campus internships offers depending upon you . For the on campus many companies came with the help of TPC and the offers which they made and th enumber of companies which came are being mention in the social handle of the institute.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester you are eligible for placdements under certain conditionss. Highest package is about 70 lac in our depatmment (non core) and in core its 40 lac. More that 70 percent get placed in the companies
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are available through government and many state policies about which the students are being informed via mails or institute website. For a Btech student total fees including each and everything (hostel , mess , transport , academics , etc ) are about 10 lac maximum . Students are provided Bank education loan at a very low rate of interest in the campus only
Campus Life
Annua technical fest is Technex which held in march . In library you have access to the ocean of books. Classrooms are big enough to hold the capacity of 150+ students. Many extra curricular activities are provided in the institute
Hostel Facilities
In the room the basic facilities are provided ( chair, table, fan , bed , etc) . The quality of the food is well good enough and have varities. The registration proceess is already done by the institute website and just on the first day you have to shift your luggage.
Admission
The admission is only possible through JEE Advanced and after that in counselling with jossa if your rank allows you can get into this course. The admission process , fees and all the requirements will be provided by jossa
Faculty
The faculty is well enoughed trained to handle and teach the students . Some of the faculty are too cooperative with the students so that students can easily approach them, but there are some faculties which are like coconut, strict while teaching . The faculty to student ratio is well good enough that a mentor is available to student , just they have to approcahed them. The faculty is approachable to students.
