There are the top class faculties all have achieved great heights in their career
The campus is very beautiful and huge full of trees
The placements are also too good. The avg package is around 15 LPA

Dislikes

The city is old so you have some difficulty to find things
It's an open campus college so there are a circulation of large number of people daily
There are no single person hostels all students have to share rooms

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. It is most likely same as every engineering college. In your first year you all have to study same subject irrespective of your branch and compete with each other for a good cgpa

Many companies like Microsoft,Google , Dshaw etc come every year for internships and the role offered are SDE , data analytics, web developer etc. students have to study DSA and have to learn different languages to crack the internship

Our cllg placements are also top notch. The highest package are in crores. And the median package is around 20 LPA . All students get good jobs. About 85 percent students gets placed every year . Microsoft,Google , Netflix etc company visits every year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple if your fathers income is more than 5 LPA then you have to submit complete fee. And if your fathers income is less than 5 LPA then you will have to pay reduced fee for the whole semester

Campus Life

The campus life is very good. The whole campus is surrounded by nature and full of trees.our college consists of every sports and every year we have tournaments in which we compete with other colleges

Hostel Facilities

The campus is very old so the hostels are also old. The rooms are somewhat small and there are also some problems of water. Meal is very good , daily our menu changes and students got satisfied with the meal

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

To get into an IIT you have to be in top 1 percent of the country's competing students. The JEE advanced exam is the 2nd toughest exam in the world so you have to work hard enough but once you get into a IIT your whole.life changes

The faculty are top notch , I am a civil engineering student, so the professor who teaches us all are having a huge experience of field all have worked in different countries and also works under huge projects with the government

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
