Likes

Every teacher is ready to help the student. They focus on practical more than theoretical knowledge
They are very serious about infrastructure everytime some work is carried out
The course curriculum is good and based on industry demand

Dislikes

Although the facilities are available but some time felt problem because of large student number
There are many events happems each day by the student organization and some money wasted unnecessary
Some of the competition are not good only waste of money

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester student are eligible for placement drive but for this 13000 of placement preparation fees you have to pay otherwise you can not sit directly in drives almost every registered student who are eligible to sit in drives they got placement

I really appreciate there management team they have well qualified teachers and hirerchy
Campus life is best if you look good and if you have good friends.
If you want placement then you must try off campus but they provide placements too but mainly in sales

Dislikes

I really disliked security guards behaviour they think as if they are prime minister
College should allow non veg food in campus
I really don't like there boring way of teaching they must improve it

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in last of 4th semester and real placements starts from 5th semester.In 4th sem they force you to do internship in order to secure job in future. More than 150+ companies visited for our course and most of them are hiring for sales. 200+ offers were made by these companies to students. Highest package was 9LPA for a sales job role where fixed component was 50% of salary. Average package is around 4 LPa for bba Around 70% of students get placement of they have prepared for it and really wants to get placed. My plan is to get into good mba college for securing a high paying job

Life in Lovely professional university

The mess in the hostels are very good. Also the house keeping also better.
The best thing in the campus is the very department is having the food court outside the department
Also they are having the huge playground where we play all the games also indoor stadium also available

Placement Experience:

Yes the placement are good they also provide the placement in 3rd year of bachelor's degree. And the well known company cane to campus for hiring. They provide the classes for the preparation for the interview.how to crack the interview and all

Getting into Lovely Professional University??? Know this first!!

1.I liked the diversity in the collage as there is collaborative environment amongst students 2. There are continuous competitions happening in the campus which keeps us engaged and active about the corporate world
We have personal mentor for us incase if we get any problem regarding behaviour of faculty, marks issue, or any issue we are facing. Also a mentor meeting is scheduled where a feedback is given to me, where I am told About how I can improve myself
We have rms system, in case we have any problem related to university we can register it on rms and solution is provided to me within 42 working hrs

Dislikes

There are alot of restrictions on girls and hostel in time for girls is 7:00 pm which is very disappointing
Here they charge you for minor things like I would like to share an incident where I was alloted hostel room but the walls were damaged so it was there mistake still I had to pay 1000 rs to change my room
Everything inside campus is very expensive and overpriced

I would rate curriculum a 7.5/10 when it comes to further academic pursuits. Being a cloud computing student I am happy being able to use all services on AWS. The difficulty level of exam varies every year

Good to go about lpu once before taking admission

Likes

Affordable fee structure and good in terms of security
Good accommodation facility for both boys and girls
good infrastructure and can get opportunity to explore cultures

Dislikes

Placement opportunities are less as the no of people are more
No proper structure of framing syllabus and delivering
Mainly During winter and summer the weather is extremely cold and extremely hot

Placement Experience:

1)from semester 6 students are eligible to sit for placement opportunities 2) nearly 300 companies including salesand foreign companies visted and offered placement for 2000 students 3)highest ctc was 1.03 crore and average package was 5 to 6 lpa 4)nearly 70 to 80 percent not 100 percent placements offered 6) Get opportunity to place in Faang companies.

they listen to student, if we share them our problems they take it very seriously and take a quick action, the problems can be regarding anything like studies, health or bullying too
the university has well managed surroundings. In every corner there is dustbin. the cleaning staff is good they make sure that every corner of university is clean and tidy
there are many facilities for students. Like they have different and proper section for sports like badminton, football ground, swimming pool, basket ball ground and the fee is very less anyone can afford

Dislikes

there is not much thing which i disliked about my university
sometimes staff can be very rude. they don't listen to students properly
being very huge and reputed university they should know that respecting other is also very important sometimes when parents of any student comes the security or hostel warden don't treat them properly which really disgust me

Course Curriculum Overview:

my chosen subject is likely to be very relevant as I would like to choose my career as an assistant professor and this subject fulfills all the criteria. its just that I appreciate it if our coursework would be of more period. they should also conduct one session to prepare us for our seminar viva and ETP because sometimes we prepare something else and panel members want something else so it is better to provide us with one particular guidelines

Shining with light of Lord

Campus was really good and clean. All kind of facilities like library and water tank, canteen , medical facilities were being provided.
Many gardens were well maintained. Environment was fresh and not much ugly .
Classrooms were good and clean. Staff was also very helpful for students.

Dislikes

There was not so much discipline in there.
Students come not study but to have fun only.
Guides were not so much good and I was difficult to find classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In starting the difficulty level of the exams is alright as we move to further classes difficulty level goes increasing. Teaching methods were all good they have practical performance in our college to make things more clear.

Nice placements and good package and also fees is less for me

Dislikes

Hostel food is not nice and not good as well
Laundary in hostel and I affected with rashes

Placements are good because from 3 year we will do interships and sessions on english how to communicate and get good package. I have got 2 company offers and selected one the percentage is getting placement is more than 85 percentage

LPU, world of dreams in india

The infrastructure, and their classrooms.
Faculty is also good, and their events and contests.
Concerts and dance party, edm night and many more activities.

Dislikes

Faculties are not experienced as much, they are also a PhD students.
They change sections every semesters, so it create so much trouble.
Their classes and timings are not suitable.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but it is very very competitive because of number of students is so high, in my batch their are 4000 students out of which 1500 are placed and some are opted of higher education, government exams and other things and approx 300-400 are unplaced yet.

College campus size in area is too vast. It has its own mall also
Availability of standard resources provided by the campus
Surrounding and environment is very soothing and everyone likes it a lot.

Dislikes

Groupism occurs between students who come all across the country.
Proffesors of the college and curriculum is strict
Domination of local students happens inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Maximum students gets placed in my branch with an average package of 6-8LPA. The companies which provides placements are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Cisco and many more. Highest package last year was 72LPA from Microsoft.

What is your review of Lovely Professional University?

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
The university's popularity is high due to its large student population from different regions of India.
LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
