Wonderful opportunities if you can work hard and build yourself

Likes

The best thing will be the supportive and experienced faculty, they understand the students and have a very interactive way of teaching. We can go to them anytime and they are always ready to help
The infrastructure, comfortable seats, interconnected classrooms and air conditioning in each classroom
Variety of food options available. Cuisines from every part of India due to presence of kiosks

Dislikes

Gender ratio is misbalanced. In a class of 70, there may be on only 15 girls
Massive crowd, sometimes there is a feel of congestion
Vegetarian campus, being a non vegetarian it is very difficult to cope up

Placement Experience:

Placements are very attractive. Students are generally eligible for placements from the 3rd year however students can apply for internships from 2nd year itself. Most of the students who register for placements and follow the guidelines, develop their skills get placed very easily.

Things that I liked the most is it's infrastructure
Second things I liked the most is it's classrooms
Also one thing that I liked most is it's placement

Dislikes

It's campus area is going to be dislike due to it's to huge and you have to walk too much
Second dislike thing is it's crowd there is too much crowd
The last thing that I dislike is that there is too much exams taken by college

Placement of our university is quite good, you have to maintain a cgpa approx 7+ after that you can grab a good placement mora than 7lpa if you are a normal student of you study hard then you grab Good placement and there is too much companies coming every year in this university

Lovely professional University

Likes

Sports facilities are available and free wifi connection
Garden and Library are available. Yoga classes at every morning
Training of sports and physical education teacher are so good

Dislikes

There are crowded environment in this college
There is no strict teacher here this is bad
In this campus there is too noisy that distract students

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is huge ground for every particular sport like volleyball, basketball etc. the physical teacher or students are so good in behaviour and there is so much good environment for sports student do great here.

an honest review about lpu

Except some subjects paper is complete multiple choice questions which is easier as a student . The exposure is good. The events organised here are wonderful . For some subjects mid term exam and end term exam both are multiple choice which is easy
Quality of education is good and more practical rather than theoritical . In a week we got more than 10 practical classes in which we perform whatever we are taught as a theory. Since wo do things practically we got more knowledge
For passing any exam we get 5 chances while in other college we get only one chance and then backlog of we fail . If we fail dutring the exam we get. Another chance just for 350 rupees . And the backlog costs around 12000 per subject

Dislikes

The faculty are not much experienced . Some teachers even lack knowledge they can not teach properly so even aftet the classes wo.have to study from youtube to pass the exams as classes are not sufficient to score well
The placement services are not good they advertise more unlike the actual reality . If someone gets placed off campus they are being presents as on campus placed . Nowadays very less companies are visiting campus for placement
We don't get holidays even in the government declared holidays and classes are so long from 9-5 which are quite boring. We get holidays only in punjabi festivals

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum is good since we are practical also we get good skills in terms of real world The teachers should be more educated so that they can be more good at teaching . They lack knowledge Exams are moderate level ecch sem two exam mid and end timings sone are at morning and some in evening Teaching hours should be less so that we can get time for self study

Campus Life in LPU

Likes

Greenish campus covering all the 600sqm that provides scenic beauty and also most of the trees are attached with QR code to help the agriculture/horti students.
The infrastructure from different buildings that are world class and advanced.
The availability of sports facilities for everyone.

Dislikes

Hectic schedule 9-5pm class with only one hour break.
The load in the lift due to insufficient of lift.
The food are veg which is difficult for non-veg lovers

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem students are eligible for placement. Several companies visited LPU annually. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google,Cognizant, HP and the no of offers are huge compared to other universities. Highest package is 62lpa from Scool of Computer Science and Engineering mainly from MBA and CSE student,and the average package is around 20lpa.

Infrastructure of the Buildings and facilities
The quality of Social Life enjoyed by students is amazing.
The number of events and hackathons that are held in the University provied ample opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester itself. Big companies such as Amazon visited. Highest package is close to 60LPA. Average package is 15LPA. Nearly half of the students are placed in my batch.

The college is very big in area and many grounds to play
Lpu provides lots of opportunities to their students
There are many events and cultural activities which happened in this university

Dislikes

The university is very strict amount drugs and alcohol
Many say that placements are very less here
Some teachers are good and some are very rude

Placement Experience:

As a fresher I don't know much about placements but all the seniors say that we need to maintain at least 7.5cgpa gat a good company placements but the university helps us to get placed in a compa ny.

LPU offers excellent placements form the 7th semester. Top MNC companies like Tata technologies, capigemini, infosys , cognizant etc. Average package : 5 to 6 LPA and highest 20 LPA. Over 80% of students are placed.

THE REALITY OF LPU

Likes

I liked here the priority for sportsperson if we got any medal in National medal in any sport we got 50 % of fee scholarship and if we got any AIU medal we got free of cost education and hostel free of cost.
I liked here the diversity between countries by this we can improve our communication skills and we make friends between others.
I liked here the infrastructure and campus learning facilities here the library is good and we can learn and there are so many learning hubs and clubs.

Dislikes

I disliked here the exam system if in end-term we got fail we can write 5 times reappears and after that backlog will happen so the exam is hard.
I disliked here the hostel maintenance is not good it is bad and the network system is not good hostel cleaners not attend properly.
I disliked here the food is not good and for non vegans here the non veg is not available so here food is not that much good.

Placement Experience:

The semester students from the third the placement drives will held the 1223 companies are visited in 2024 and here the Highest package for the 3 crore by Google and in Germany there are nice companies like Google,Flipkart, Amazon are there and here the percentage of students placed are getting placed are 90% of students and after getting degree I am want to get nice placement in nice companies like Google, Flipkart,Amazon etc.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
