First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

College life can never come back.

Likes

I like the annual fest and technical fest of our college.
I like the hostels of our college where we can enjoy with our friends.

Dislikes

I don't like Infrastructure of my department because It is not modified even after so many years.

Placement Experience:

If we discuss the placement percentage then the student which are in their 7th semester are eligible for the placement seasons, currently, placement season is going on and more than 70 percent of students are already placed, companies like maruti suzuki, EXL , Trident, Amazon, Microsoft, Google are the top recruiter companies of our college which provide the highest package of 25 lahks to mechanical engineering students and median package is 8 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 4 lakh per annum, more than 85 percent students get placement in our college, After B.Tech I'm thinking to prepare for the Civil services exam because It gave me a boost in life and helps me to become financial Independent.

The NITJ provide good placement every year this year Highest placement got 1.2 crores and average placement every year was approx 14LPA and the lowest placement is approx 5LPA, 3rd year and 4th-year student are eligible for applying for the placement interview, many companies visited every year Microsoft Flipkart Google olx Amazon byjus Samsung Tesco cdot American express Goldman synopsys Paytm Honda Airtel and Reliance strand Vardhman and so may approx 250+ companies visited and provide 700+offices Every year almost 90%student got placed in my plan after completing b.tech work in an MNC company

My experience with NIT Jalandhar

Likes

High placement opportunities and high internship opportunities offered to the students
Campus life is peaceful, every culture is respected , Institute is full of lush greenery, events are full of joy and energy
Infrastructure is adequate and at par with industry level, teaching methods are modern, faculties are experienced

Dislikes

Mess food is not appreciable, breakfast timings are too early in morning and should be atleast 10 in the morning

Placement Experience:

Students in the CSE branch start getting placed at the end of the third year and the beginning of 4th year for other branches. The percentage of students placed varies with the department that they belong to. The 2023 batch in the chemical engineering department has around 90 percent of students placed currently and other students haven't applied for placement for other reasons such as GATE, UPSC, and M.Tech. A very large number of companies visit the campus both core and non-core such as Google, Amazon, Samsung, reliance, violin, Deloitte, KPMG, TATA, hp, dell, etc.

Placement Experience:

Students who are in their 7th semester are eligible for the placement most of the companies come during the 7th and 8th semester of students, several core and non-core companies visit our colleges like Reliance, KPMG, Technip energies, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Tech companies gave the highest package to students but core companies do not give too much stipend, core companies' base salary is roughly around 8 lacs to 9 lacs per annum but Tech companies give an average package of 14 lacs to 15 lacs average package. Tech company gives the role of SDE and Core company gives the role of the GET. My plan after the degree is to qualify for GATE and get a good job in PSUs.

Mess food can be improved in some hostels.
Student relationship are not good in my college.

I Found Mech Engineering Of Nitj A Very Benificial Course To Opt For A Better Future In Core Department . Mech Department Is A Flowing Department That Provide Very Good Job Oppurtunities . Faculty To Student Ratio--> A Decent Faculty To Student Ratio Is Provided Here . A Batch Of 121 Students Run By A Faculty In A Lecture Class Whereas In Lab And Tutorial Subgroups Of 40 -40-40 Is Made Here For Better Interaction With Faculty . Faculty Qualification-->Faculty Of This College Is Very Well Qualified .Mostly Everyone Is Phd Here . Term Exams--> In A Semester Their Is 3 Exams 2 Minors And 1 Major Examination . 1St Minor Will Occur In 2Nd Month And 2Nd Minor In 3Rd-4Th Month And Major In The 5Th Month. Exams Are Of Decent Quality. Student Should Have A Good Understanding In Core Subjects

The campus is near many prime spots for traveling
There are less restrictions and more opportunities all arround the campus and the quality of study is good
The faculty is understanding and handle any of the problems of their students quite respectfully and responsibly

Dislikes

The college is situated far away from the city but transportation facilities are there
There are many unused spaces that are not properly maintained
The mess food is good but the canteen food is not up to the mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am deeply interested in forming designs and someday, I want to establish my own brand the faculty is interactive but strict and they don't accept any excuse at the student's end to maintain a good reputation and maintain the 75% attendance. the professors are fairly qualified and have very interesting teaching methods but they require some contribution at the student's end the examination marks distribution criteria are fairly simple. Firstly you have 2 minors (each of 20 marks)(happens every 40 days or so), then you have an end sem (50 marks) and the rest 10 marks are in the hands of the professor tutoring the course.

Placement Experience:

The students of 3rd year in the 7th semester and above are eligible for campus placement. The companies which visit Institute are Google, Amazon, reliance, Microsoft, Paytm, etc. these companies mostly offer an average offer of 1200000. The highest package received is 1.2 cr. And the min package received is about 2.5 lack per annum. About 90 percent of students get placed. I plan to pursue higher studies after completing of B.Tech.

Students are eligible for placement starting from the 7th semester although some are offered earlier based on their internship approval and the work they are pre-placed. There are plenty of companies more than 200 visiting the institute like Amazon, and Paytm. The highest package offered in the previous year was 1.23 cr and was offered by Microsoft. Every year around 90 percent of students interested in placements are placed in top companies like Amazon Microsoft and google.

Many companies visited Manly like Google, Microsoft Paytm, phoney, jio reliance, Flipkart, Amazon, OLX, Tesco, Bharat petroleum and may biggest companies visited every year. And Evey year almost 90 per cent of students are placed and this year highest placement is 1.2 CR the average placement is 13 to 15 lakh and the minimum placement is 7.5 lakh. My plan after my degree gets a placement in mnc.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
