- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

I would rate the course curriculum around 7.5 / 10 in terms of revelance and comprehensiviness . I choose this course because it offers strong core subjects like data structures , DBMS , and software engineering along with the specialisation options

i think 56 percent of the students get placed
i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

- The campus life is active and social, with many tech clubs and events that help in peer bond and team work.
- Most faculty have good subject know how and use clear teach methods with code labs and demos.
- Infra like labs, class rooms and net access is good and helps in daily study and proj work.
Dislikes
- The fee is high and shows small rise for new batches, which adds money load.
- Some classes are fast paced and focus more on theory than deep code prac.
- Place support is decent but not equal for all, and avg students get less mentor time.
Placement Experience:
Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

- campus life is good , you can explore many opportunites. staff is supportve.

- I liked the campus infrastructure. The buildings, labs and classrooms feel modern and well maintained. The environment is clean and organised, which makes it easier to focus.
- I liked that there are regular fests, events and club activities. If I want exposure, networking or stage confidence, there are opportunities.
- CSE gets decent placement attention. Companies do come regularly, and the placement cell conducts training sessions, mock interviews and aptitude practice.
Dislikes
- Attendance pressure feels unnecessary sometimes. Too much focus on rules and compliance instead of actual learning
- Some classes are heavily PPT-based. A few professors just rush to finish the syllabus without going deep into concepts.
- Practical exposure could be stronger. For an AI-ML program, more real-world projects and industry-level work would help.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March.
Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire.
Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum.
Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives.
Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students.
In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.

- Students classes are having ac , fans , proper amount of light means led bulbs

- One more thing I disliked is , in coding subjects our college department added 50 percent criteria to pass out exam in rest exams we have to get 40 marks to pass but in coding exams we have to get 50 percent marks in each internal and external

Name of companies I can't write as theres many but few are walmart , neilson , accenture etc
Highest package is 48 lakhs I guess by GoDaddy
2021 batch students 90 percent were placed
2022 batch students 75 percent were placed rest I don't have idea

- Placement was good if u work hard u will get opportunity and get placed
- The gender ratio was also decent ,20-30 girls
- The faculty that used to teach us were not professors rather some company teachers like hitbulls eye or coding blocks
Dislikes
- Too many students ,tight class packed with Student
- Too much crowd and rush ,no place to walk freely in campus
- The guards are biased towards non sikh Students

The placements are good ,if u study well u can easily get an offer some big companies include unicommerce,snap deal , myntra ,go daddy , fico , highest package was around 45lpa domestic and average is around 5-7 lpa 70-80% students get placed if unplaced college provide industrial training and few get placed there ,the students here get eligible for placement since 6th semester

- the campus is beautiful and the infra is good and the hygeine is also good
- the classes are well maintained and faculty is corporative and must visit campus
- the vendors in the university are well and the food is also very tasty

- the wardens are very bad in the nature so they need to improve

Chitkara has one of thr most strogest placements records in the north of india and with the students eligibility from the campus recruitment from the 6th semester onwards. the highest pacage of 1.1 cr in amazon and the avgerage package of 10lpa with 2000+ recruiters visiting and students secure 70-80 percents of placements.

- Industry aligned curriculum like in bcom with acca students got 9 paper exemption which accelerate our journey towards our global professional qualification
- Campus infrastructure are really good and feels positive vibes between students and have various clubs like c2s2 and there is frequent dj nights, fests which give us an enjoyable moment.
- Strong placement genrally in bcom they ties with big 4 companies to got placement for students which is really helpful for students to get better job with good salary.
Dislikes
- Rules are very strict as 75% attendence is mandatory now they don't provide any duty leave and medical leave which is not good
- Mess food for hostlers are poor quality food they use low quality butter,and even chapattis are very hard and dals are so poor in quality
- Location as this college is far away from main cities like chandigarh and patiala as there is no cab facility available and there is no blinkit facilities available at this location and fees and fines are very high in terms of undisciplined

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
