we are eligible for placement after 5 th semester where we can get both the internship and some student also get pre placed around 40 percent of student get placed after the degree average package is around 6 lpa

there are various companies that offer internships like flipkart ,nielsen tcs and many more with stipend upto 5-6 lpa per year . i don't have much idea about this because i am still in my second year of the college

- The campus life is active and social, with many tech clubs and events that help in peer bond and team work.
- Most faculty have good subject know how and use clear teach methods with code labs and demos.
- Infra like labs, class rooms and net access is good and helps in daily study and proj work.
Dislikes
- The fee is high and shows small rise for new batches, which adds money load.
- Some classes are fast paced and focus more on theory than deep code prac.
- Place support is decent but not equal for all, and avg students get less mentor time.
Internships Opportunities:
At Chitkara University, intern chances are shared by the place cell and dept teams. Students can apply from about 5th or 6th sem for tech and dev roles. Firms like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some AI and data start ups offer intern roles. Common roles are code intern, data intern, AI intern, test intern, and web dev intern. Stipend based interns often get about ?8,000 to ?25,000 per month, based on firm and skill test.
Most intern tasks are real proj based. Students work on web apps, ML models, data dash boards, API links, and test tools. Many interns build live proj like chat bots, data analy tools, and full stack sites. End result is a proj report, code repo, and demo. These interns help in skill gain, resume value, and pre place offers in some cases.

- strict attendence criteria which can led to heavy fine.
- little infrastructure is bad but it is improving.

- I liked the campus infrastructure. The buildings, labs and classrooms feel modern and well maintained. The environment is clean and organised, which makes it easier to focus.
- I liked that there are regular fests, events and club activities. If I want exposure, networking or stage confidence, there are opportunities.
- CSE gets decent placement attention. Companies do come regularly, and the placement cell conducts training sessions, mock interviews and aptitude practice.
Dislikes
- Attendance pressure feels unnecessary sometimes. Too much focus on rules and compliance instead of actual learning
- Some classes are heavily PPT-based. A few professors just rush to finish the syllabus without going deep into concepts.
- Practical exposure could be stronger. For an AI-ML program, more real-world projects and industry-level work would help.
Internships Opportunities:
Internships usually come up in 3rd/5th semester (summer breaks) so students can get real-world experience before final placements. Many internships are for academic credit and some come with stipends depending on the company and role.
Through the placement cell and industry partnerships, students get opportunities with big tech and consulting firms — either directly or through networks of recruiters and partners:
Amazon – tech/data related internships
Microsoft – based on Azure, cloud or dev tools
Google – project/tech internships
Deloitte – tech/analytics/consulting roles

- Students classes are having ac , fans , proper amount of light means led bulbs

- One more thing I disliked is , in coding subjects our college department added 50 percent criteria to pass out exam in rest exams we have to get 40 marks to pass but in coding exams we have to get 50 percent marks in each internal and external
Internships Opportunities:
Name of companies are walmart, neilson, accenture,hcl they hire us for intership later if they get satisfied with your work they appoint you as full time employee
Projects are also there fot web development you can make any working website and also have a great knowledge in DATA STRUCTURE AND ALGORITHM

- Placement was good if u work hard u will get opportunity and get placed
- The gender ratio was also decent ,20-30 girls
- The faculty that used to teach us were not professors rather some company teachers like hitbulls eye or coding blocks
Dislikes
- Too many students ,tight class packed with Student
- Too much crowd and rush ,no place to walk freely in campus
- The guards are biased towards non sikh Students
Internships Opportunities:
Various companies come for campus drive they pick their candidates and make them work on their personal project, we get opportunity for all fields ,tech or non tech whichever u want to go ,if u satisfy the eligibility criteria u can apply for that company

- the classes are well maintained and faculty is corporative and must visit campus
- the vendors in the university are well and the food is also very tasty

- the wardens are very bad in the nature so they need to improve
- the food is very bad like made on the streets and they also change the menu in very bad in nature

internships in the university are maindaitory part of the curriculam for the time period of 6 to 12 months and the university has direct links to the industry and through that the students get pklaced in thr very good companies with a average stipend of 15k to 35k per month and the students get full time placements via PRE PLACEMENTS OFFERS (PPO)

- Industry aligned curriculum like in bcom with acca students got 9 paper exemption which accelerate our journey towards our global professional qualification
- Campus infrastructure are really good and feels positive vibes between students and have various clubs like c2s2 and there is frequent dj nights, fests which give us an enjoyable moment.
- Strong placement genrally in bcom they ties with big 4 companies to got placement for students which is really helpful for students to get better job with good salary.
Dislikes
- Rules are very strict as 75% attendence is mandatory now they don't provide any duty leave and medical leave which is not good
- Mess food for hostlers are poor quality food they use low quality butter,and even chapattis are very hard and dals are so poor in quality
- Location as this college is far away from main cities like chandigarh and patiala as there is no cab facility available and there is no blinkit facilities available at this location and fees and fines are very high in terms of undisciplined

- very good placement record last year almost every student from cse branch got placed.
- maintained discipline in the college as it has dress code in collage
Dislikes
- rules and regulations its good to have this but too much is not good
- compared to other private college it has small campus size approximate 90 acre
- insted of normal guard they have military retayars persons as guard they sometime misbehave
Internships Opportunities:
there is no intership opportunity from college itself you have to crack by yourself only through offcampus drive and hiring platform like-linkedin,indeed and others.i have cracked online internship for 1 months through myself.
