At Chitkara University, the faculty ratio is fair, with one teacher for a medium size class group. The teacher student bond is mostly good and many teachers are easy to approach after class or in lab hours. Doubt help is given if you ask. I liked my AI and data science teachers most because they use real code tasks and live demos. They focus on logic and not just notes. I did not like a few theory based teachers because they read slides and move fast, with less doubt time. So quality varies by subject and teacher. The course structure is split by sem with core and skill based subjects. Each sem has internals and end term exams. Internals include quiz, lab test, assign work, and code test. Marks are split between internal and final exam. In coding papers there is a fifty percent pass rule, so you must score half marks to pass. Exams are medium level if you do labs and practice code. Some students fail if they skip labs or copy work, but most pass with steady prep. The course plan is job linked and useful for tech and AI roles.

Faculty-to-student ratio is average — one professor handles around 50–60 students. Most teachers are approachable if I go to them personally, but they won’t chase me. The relationship depends on how proactive I am. Some professors are genuinely good — they explain concepts clearly and relate them to real-world applications instead of just reading slides. Those are the best ones. A few others rely heavily on PPTs and rush the syllabus, which makes classes feel mechanical. The exam system includes internal tests, assignments, a mid-sem exam, and an end-sem exam. Marks are usually split between internal assessment and final exam. Exams are moderate in difficulty. If I study regularly, they’re manageable. Most students pass unless they ignore attendance or don’t prepare. The curriculum is relevant to AI-ML basics, but it’s not very deep. Real skill depends on how much extra effort I put in outside class.

There are mostly 1 or very rare 2 trainers and one teacher for a subject so the faculty to student ratio is pretty good , they are very helpful in case there's any type of doubt regarding their subjects Arouns 7 subjects in per semester in which 1 is Coursera which is online course which is simplest, around 1 swayam course which is very easy , 2-3 subjects are theory based , when it comes to tough there are 1 or mostly 2 subjects which are coding, they are not difficult but a little hard to understand

Faculty:

The faculty-to-student ratio is fairly decent, roughly around 1:25–30, which allows reasonable interaction inside classrooms. Most faculty members are approachable, especially during working hours, after lectures, or before exams. If you are proactive and ask doubts, teachers are generally supportive, though a few are more rigid and exam-oriented. The faculty–student relationship is mostly professional, not overly strict. Some faculty members go the extra mile to help students with concepts, assignments, and even career guidance, while others stick strictly to the syllabus.
