For our batch, the fees remained constant throughout the course, although for later batches the fees have been increased. A life in Chitkara university

The fee structure in my college is divided semester wise and the amount is slightly increased for the other batches every year. In the first year , i had paid a total of 1 lacs, from which 15000 was my security deposit, and rest were admission charges. for categories like managemen quota or SC/ST, the fees varies. some of my classmates under the management quota had to pay a significantly higher amount compared to regular admissions, while students under reserved categories generally had lower fees because of government approved concessions. there are a few scholarships options in the college but most of them are merit-based. the main one is the merit-cum-means scholarship which is given to students who maintain a good CGPA. a few students also received small fee waivers based on family income. apart from that, there isn't a very big list of scholarships, so most students manage through regular payments, installments, or education loan taken from the government.

when i joined the college in 2022 the college anual fees structure was 1,80,000 rs but the college tution and hostel fees is increasing anually latest fees stucture is 2,00,000 rs for tution fees and hostel fees anually is 1,40,000 rs. there is no scholarship in college but you can apply through student loans .also there is state scholarship for punjab students.the above fees structure is for engineering students with cse.

hey everyone i am student at Chitkara University ,punjab and wanted to share a clear breakdown of my fee structure since i know its major question for anyone looking to join my annual academic fee is apporximately 2lakh for my BE course while we often say the fee is around 4lakh for 1 year which include hostel for my situation i opted for an on campus ac hostel room which is 4 seater with attach washroom . the charges of hostel and mess is 92000 per semester (which covers a 6 month period) so full academic fees 2lac hostel and mess for two semesters 90,000*2 = 184000rs this bring total the grand total for one year of studying and living in ac hostel to 384000 hope this give you a precise picture to help with financial planning

Likes

The University provides good infrastructure for technical and research based courses like pharmacy. They have well-equiped labs for experiment.

Dislikes

The curriculum is sometimes rigid with fewer electives and flexibility to explore .
The tuition and additional charges for various facilities are expensive .

I am paying 240000 per annum and 120000 for one sem for my academic studies . In chitkara they have development fees which charges 20000 per sem . In chitkara u have to register for your course for that u have to pay registration form fees which will charge 1100/-. In chitkara they have not any difference for other categories all have to pay same fees for academic studies. If government approve the scholarship scheme then the student get scholarship otherwise not.

Year wise fees is 2,40,000rs. No scholarship available. Fees annually is 2 lakh rs and tution fees is 40 thousand. And CSE AI fees is 5 lakh rupess. Annually i e per sem is 1.5 lakh including 20 thousand.
