Campus diaries: Chitkara university

I choose this course because the curriculum includes the subject that match my interest like software development. It focuses on pratical experiment. The curriculum is designed to provide both prarical skills and theatrical knowledge preparing me for real world applications In the curriculum needs to change the criteria for attendance because they have very strict criteria for attendance. Frequency and timing of exams along my perspective is perfect .

The major companies which visit our campus are TCS,Infosys, Wipro,CISCO. Whereas we were given courses from cisco regarding cyber security . Other courses will be given with time to time as we are in 1 st year we are only introduced to one course after some time we will get other courses from these above companies. Projects are given accordingly in which field you are working if you are doing full stack development than you will be given works regarding making websites and if you are doing cyber security than related to security measures.

In 3rd semester a student is eligible for campus placement but it is all upto to students that they have to maintain a good cgpa and skills for interviews. In Chitkara university a good number of companies visited like Microsoft, google and they provide 100+ offerletters. 85-90 % students get placed in Chitkara university. After getting degree I firstly join to the company .

I am paying 240000 per annum and 120000 for one sem for my academic studies . In chitkara they have development fees which charges 20000 per sem . In chitkara u have to register for your course for that u have to pay registration form fees which will charge 1100/-. In chitkara they have not any difference for other categories all have to pay same fees for academic studies. If government approve the scholarship scheme then the student get scholarship otherwise not.

Rangrezz is one of the best event of Chitkara University that I attend in that event they have good variety of performances which is held in november. They also host technical events like ACM,Coding ninja these clubs host coding events too. Other event are hosted on every main occasions. Recently India won the match so on that occasion Chitkara celebrates that day with live screening in omega ground and all the hostelers join that event. All over Chitkara is best for celebrating any event.

I apply for Chandigarh university and i got my confirmed admission form but i have to choose chitkara because Chandigarh University is very far from my house and other reason for choosing chitkara is that chitkara is good in placements criteria as compared to Chandigarh University. No i dont get any rejection from any college. For taking admission in Chitkara you firstly have to fill the registration form which charges 1100/-and then after 1-3 months they provide a counselling in which they give admissions according to their percentage.

Chitkara university maintains a commendable faculty to student ratio in effective academic engagement. Chitkara faculties are very well managed to help the students who are facing any issue regarding their studies. I like my tanya gera mam which is our c programming teacher because they interacte with students in very friendly way and whenever we face any issue they are always their to help us. I dont like the teacher because sometimes, i am not able to understand the concept that he teaches . In one sem they have 3 STs and at last they conduct end term exams .Criteria for Sts and end exam are same because in both they have mcq based ques but in coding subject they have coding ques .

In Chitkara according to their departments all have their different libraries like cse have Central library. Opening timings for all libraries will be same at 9'o clock . For Day scholars ,you can issue the books before 4 p.m . All the Cafeteries will open at 9 o clock and open all the day because in Chitkara not only day scholars they have hostellers also, so for that cafeteries will open till 11 p.m . Campus timings are from 9 am to 4 pm for day scholars and for hosteller can move in the campus from 6 am to 10 pm . Most famous hangout place inside are square 1 and square 2 and outside the university the place is prime and rajpura chowk.
