Course Curriculum Overview
1.The primary draw was PEC'S legacy and brand in north india, combined with the exceptional placement records for the CSE branch and the strong alumni network. 2.The core curriculum DSA .OS , DBMS is solid. The mandatory 6-month internship in the 6th semester. 3. The teaching methods are still quite traditional and theory -heavy. Introducing more project based learning and updating lab infrastructure. 4. It follows a relative grading system with mid sem and end sem and frequest quizzes. Difficulty are moderate to high becasue of relative grading .
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies such as college duniya , microsoft , astrotalk, greyb, accenture, google , natwest. There are various projects related to tech , data , sales , management and other various .
Placement Experience
For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission through Study In India Scholarship Scheme which is given to all foreign students . For all foreign students of the SAARC countries there is fees amount of $4000 dollar per anually+RS.6000. I had given admission charge of INR.25,000.
Campus Life
The names of annual and technical festivals are vary ffrom time to time . The range and accessibility of books and journals are very much available in the library. The facilities and technologies provision within classrooms are better.
Hostel Facilities
There is bed , table and chair facilities. Meal quality i s mid in some hostel. Registraion process is somehow good. If we rent for room or pg the sector 15 , sector17 , nayagaon are good for best room around.
Admission
I apply for PEC because of it's legacy and brand of top ties government college in india , offering better ROI than other private colleges. Placements are strong because of it's better placement cycle management and records. Situated in chandigarh , providing excellent industry exposure and a high quality of life . Entrance is purely based on JEE main scores , seats are allocated through JoSAA , It require 75% in +2
Faculty
The relationship are good with faculties and there are very much approachable. CSE faculties are good because they treat you like your own and solve every problem on priority basis. Management faculties are somehow bad as they take too much time respond and solve queries. There are two exam per semester , one is mid term and other is end term . Difficulties level is mid.
Night Life
There is better gym , cafeterieas , huge library, and public area are open to visit. Hostel timing is free and campus timing is 11pm. Famous hangout places are PEC market , nescafe , audi area.Yes the locality is safe to roam around at night.
