Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects covered basics like programming, DBMS etc. which is useful in the beginning. But honestly, it's not enough for real - world jobs, so you have to learn extra on your own. Exams were regular and not too tough.
Fees and Financial Aid
For my MCA at Chitkara University, I paid around Rs. 90,000 at the time of admission (this included uniform and initial charges). After that, each semester fee was Rs. 75,000. So, overall, the course cost me close to Rs.3,50,000. I never got a detailed breakdown, it was mostly a combined fee.
Campus Life
Campus life was simple but enjoyable. There were events sometimes, and students participated actively. The library and classrooms were decent enough for studies. There were also sports and small activities to keep students engaged.
Admission
I chose Chitkara University mainly because the admission process was simple and quick. I did check a few other colleges, but this one felt more straightforward in terms of joining. There was no complicated entrance process in my case.
Faculty
Faculty members were okay overall some were really good, others just average. If you ask for help, most of them respond well. Exams were held every semester with internal marks included. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult and most students passed without much trouble.
Interview Experience
During my admission at Chitkara University, I went through a basic interview and document verfication process. The interview included simple questions about my background and academics. There was no group discussion or written test, and the overall process was smooth and easy to complete.
Night Life
Nightlife was very limited due to strict rules. Hostels had fixed timings, and most places inside the campus closed early. Students evenings with friends inside. Outside options were only on Saturday.
