- The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
- I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
- I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.
Dislikes
- The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
- Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
- The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

- Hostel is pretty good as compared to other hostels. I've been here for 3 years and realised that food is actually pretty decent
- College Infrastructure is pretty good including all blocks and library.

- Poor adminstration.
Placement Experience:
I don't know specific percentage for I can surely tell its not 100% but that not on college. Every year college brings 400+ companies and then it's upto student to grab the opportunity. Opportunities you get here are really good and if you have potential then you surely will get places. As of now I haven't seen a single company that came offering less that 6 lakhs. Highest I would say went to 50lakh+
I'm planning to get a job before getting my degree and college is helping in it a lot.

- Goods are that the campus is lushy green, positive vibes and peaceful generally. The all over crowd of students is also genuine
- Academically is also very satisfying...as it is setted as per government terms as well as authorised. Teachers are experienced
- They are dealing college students and they know how much freedom is to be given

- Hidden charges are frequent, this fest this project, this assignment this file this exam etc.
Placement Experience:
Placement is decent in college, like i came to hear that students got 30 lpa 40 lpa 50 lpa So ya not too placement deprived.Genrally a student becomes skilled to intern and placed in 3 year and final year so yes mostly in these years majority of students get ppo as well as get placed and do paid internships as well

- The cultural exposure is too good at Chandigarh university, there are students from different communities, states and countries.
- University provides a lot support to students to get placed
- Faculty is well equipped with experience
Dislikes
- Lot of crowd makes it difficult to stand up on opportunities
- Few faculty members are PHD students in university itself
- The attendance system is really harsh and students have to rush from one building to other for approvals
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is all theory based. There is less exposure to labs. Only a few teachers take lab subjects seriously and make students work hard on projects. And the whole curriculum rushes pass the curriculum from classes to examination.

- The environment and campus of college is pretty good, also it provides a very great environment for other opportunities.
- People from diverse culture and religion are here. Many international students study here.

- The crowd is too much here, that makes it more competitive to get good placement.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement is average here,but more then 1000 companies visit here they also assist you for the placement but by saying average i mean they do provide placement but as i previously said the high crowd over here leads to low placement and even no placement for some students.

- The first thing which I liked about the college it's the campus of my college.It's very big and multiple grounds are there for different type of sport we can play any sport there like there numerous number of sports.
- Second thing which I liked about the college is there are multiple function happened time to time and they invite big celebrities like on my time there are multiple I got to opportunity to see them face to face example Kiara advani,Kapil sharma,etc.
- The third things which I liked about the college is the quality of food and the price of the food it's really tasty and afforadle.
Dislikes
- The thing which I disliked about the college is there way of teaching they just read from pdf or books and translate the english into hindi. The maximum number of teacher do that because they lack knowledge about the subject.
- Second thing is that their attendance criteria which I don't if any person fail to achieve 75% attendance marks they will not allow them to sit in the exam and he has reappear and the reappear fees will be very high per subject.
- The third thing which I don't like their way of giving placement to student they don't help you personally if you fail to get the placement they don't help if you seek the help from they just don't pickup your call or ignore your messages.
Placement Experience:
The number of companies coming for the placement is good it's crossed 600 after the 5th semester students are eligible to take the placement there are multiple that came to the campus and no offers were made like Google, Microsoft, and Flipkart.
The highest package offered was 52LPA and the average is 3LPA.
Percentage of students getting placed I don't know the exact number but according to my calculation, it's around 60%.
I wanted to do the job in the IT field but I didn't get any opportunity.

- Chandigarh University provides ample amount of opportunities to the students. The department of CSE is known for organising many hackathons. The recent establishment of Kalpna Chawal Research Centre also provides good exposure to the students.
- Diverse culture is what which makes this University unique. The University lis known for organising events related to different states and it also organises various cultural events for the international students.
- There is almost no ragging in this college, so every student feels safe in the campus. The campus provides students with almost all facilities.
Dislikes
- The faculty is not that much experienced. They simply read the ppt slides in the class. Sometimes university also put unnecessary load on the students for example- fast learner, slow learner assignment. These assignment are generally given after MST.
- In the name of placement, the college only knows to threaten the children. Although from their side they have organised Summer camp but this camp is of no use. And it is mandatory to attend this camp else the student will b debarred from the placemen
- Every year the college is taking admissions more than its actual capacity. A sharp hike in course fee and hostel fee is also done(for new admissions only).

Placement Experience:
From 6th semester (4 years BE) onwards students become eligible for placements. From 3rd year onwards the whole CSE is divided into two sections- TPP and NTPP . TPP for those who want campus placement. For registering in TPP Rs 9000 are charged abd the CRC department ( placement dept) provides with study material like aptitude books to students. Regular Amcat exams are held for examining student's knowledge related to various core subjects needed for placement. The department also organises DCPD camp and Domain winning camp for preparing students for placement. Earlier the placement of CU were quite good but now it has degraded. The number of companies visiting is decreased. Half of the placement opportunities are shared with CGC landran and jhanjeri and it is worrysome for the students. Half of the students of the batch 2020-2024 are not placed yet. My plans after getting graduate is that I will be preparing for various competitive exams.

- The best thing was the exposure given as students from throughout the country and even foreign countries are there
- The next thing i will say is placements, although in my batch it was not very good because of the recession and all, but in my seniors batch i myself saw many were holding more than 2-3 offers. I myself even in 2024 hold 4 oncampus offers
- Another thing i will mention is about the hostels. The hostels according to me were good. Good nice and clean bathrooms, regular cleaning etc.
Dislikes
- Being from 2024 batch, The placements were not up to the mark. I personally know a lot of deserving students who didn't get oncampus placement even after having adequate skills.
- Mess food although is better than most of the colleges in the country, still it can be made much better. Especially the rotis. Most of the times the sabzi's are good but rotis are machine made which makes them impossible to eat at times.
- The engineering curriculum is not the best. Its true not only for chandigarh university but for almost every college in the country. Instead on focusing on subjects that helps in placement students are busy in focusing on not so important subjects.
Placement Experience:
Placements are good overall. But 2024 is an exception. One can say because of recession as every college including IIT'S, Nit's faced same issue this year.
Still many students including me were able to grab on campus placements.
Companies were less in number but still one can not say that they didn't get opportunity. Opportunities were there, It was all about one's preparations, skillset and luck as well.
As per my knowledge the highest package was somewhere around 23-24 lpa by zscaler. Also a lot of companies gave 8lpa+ offers. ZS picked 29 students at a package of 13.65lpa.

- Overall collage is good, most of the faculty members are very nice and cooperative.
Dislikes
- College is good but some of things like their manage system is too slow to work. Some of the faculty members are very rude. Been a private collage this collage is also gave a lot of acedemic pressure.
Placement Experience:
From 6 semester students are eligible for placement. There's are many companies which are visiting the university. Almost 60% of the students get the campus placement here. Students are trained for placement through TPP program which is start from the 4 semester.

- The atmosphere and ambience at the campus is very calming and picturesque. My main motivation to get up early is to enjoy the view
- Since it is a private college, it is in a perpetual pressure to maintain the ever changing standards and I can surely say that the system here is very rigorous and active
- Teachers and management of the department is very cooperative, at least I can surely voucher for my department
Dislikes
- Not enough time is given between exams. We are always in a constant pressure of the upcoming exams.
Placement Experience:
College offers two options to the students pursuing their under graduation program, one is taking an on-campus placement opportunity and other is an offline one. So even if a student doesn't choose the first option he can still opt for the second one. Average package is also good, getting better each year.

- College is providing internationl exposure like they have a TEEP program in which they allow you to go to foreign countries for research internships
- Every semester they make you opt for a GP course in which you can select co-curricular activities be it dancing, photography, social care
- They provide guidance for you to publish your research paper which are added to your cgpa as an credit.It is basically mandatory.
Dislikes
- Crowd is too much and the fact that they doesn't have any criteria to select students in this university
- No transportation facility in campus for students to travel from one place to another
- Management is useless because they always make you visit atleast 2-3 offices here and there to make your even the smallest query resolved
Placement Experience:
From end of 3rd year you become eligible for campus placements and yes companies do visit from big renowned companies to startups like microsoft, amazon, nokia, LG solutions, Philips, Cummens etc
There were 700 offers made last year and the highest package was 54.50 in Palo alto and average package would be 6 lakhs.
Around 50% students gets placed and my plan after degree would be MBA

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:
- Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
- A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
- Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
- The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
- As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
