Chandigarh University detailed review by their student

The course is relevant to the curriculum followed all over India and maximum syllabus is same in all the universities around the country but personally i think they should update the syllabus for the new generation as for future more things will be needed in future for placements and a good job.

The college provides various internship opportunities and various webinar and seminars to enhance the skills of students to get placement also summer camp intership, social internship are mandatory over here.

The campus placement is average here,but more then 1000 companies visit here they also assist you for the placement but by saying average i mean they do provide placement but as i previously said the high crowd over here leads to low placement and even no placement for some students.

While talking admission they give a chance to give cucet exam which grants scholarship to the students which is for all despite of their board percentage/marks. They can give this exam to avail upto 100% scholarship , maximum students easily get 30 -40% scholarship. There is some condition to retain it to that you should not get failed in any subject and maintain cgpa of or more than 7.5.

The campus is pretty huge and good,many events take place here there is atleast 1 to 2 big concerts every month (like tashan nights, Sufi night,etc) Also there are always some daily small events happening all over the campus (flash mobile, poetry, dancing,etc)

The hostel over here are good,they provide you 4 time meal including snacks also the menu of the mess is good there is option of both veg and non veg but non veg is cooked only 2 or 3 times a week and rest all days are common menu.

The eligibility criteria is board's marks should be more than or equal to 60% and there are different scholarship for different categories. But cucet is for all which is a entrance exam in which you have to score 30 to get pass and also with this exam you'll get scholarship.

The faculty over-all is nor so good and neither so bad . The faculty is average,some of the faculty are too good in their fields and are supportive towards students meanwhile some are just rude and rough,who don't even teach properly.
