Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is as par the education system followed by any other engineering colleges but there's a catch here. Our college provide us an extra edge with free linkedin learning account and coursera account and actually pushes us to do different courses which are really helpful for dealing with in real life interviews and problems. My Curriculum was cse with specialization in blockchain technology and the course plan was elaborate and very specific which made me chose that course. I would say Curriculum can be improved by removing some of the unnecessary subjects like we were taught environmental science too which I feel doesn't resonate with our course. Exams are pretty frequent here. For every unit there is surprise test. And 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exams. Apart from that there are assignments and quizes too. It's easy and chill. If one concentrates in class then they can easily pass these.

Internships Opportunities

4

I haven't been offered any internships as of yet but I've known people who have been. So many companies like ey gds and toddle and pwc come and offer many roles for internship as consultant front-end dev backend dev and many other. Opportunities are many. You just have to grab it

Placement Experience

4

I don't know specific percentage for I can surely tell its not 100% but that not on college. Every year college brings 400+ companies and then it's upto student to grab the opportunity. Opportunities you get here are really good and if you have potential then you surely will get places. As of now I haven't seen a single company that came offering less that 6 lakhs. Highest I would say went to 50lakh+ I'm planning to get a job before getting my degree and college is helping in it a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is constantly changing every year and it's only going up but it's because the performance of college is only going up and also because a lot of buildings are being made and all. Fee structure at my time was 1,05,000 for semester and 2000 was exam fees every sem. Fee paying was seamlessly done online on uims. For loan college provide great assistance as it has collaborated with many banks and helps you get student loan. You don't have to worry about that. Even I took students loan and all my expenses were paid through that. Coming to scholarships before admission college took cucat exam from which scholarship amount is decided. I personally have 40% scholarship. And to maintain it you have to keep your cgpa above 7.5 I haven't seen campus Employment as such but there might be a possibility that there might be one

Campus Life

3.5

There are many fest in which many singers and artists come like tashan nights and different fest with different names. The main fest usually happens in February. Libraries are well equipped with all books one could need to get knowledge of their course. Classrooms are fitted with white board projection screen and projector which results in good teaching anf learning experience. Sports and other activities are promoted a lot here. We have a sport complex equipped with modern machines. And about social group. There are many clubs you can join and experience.

Hostel Facilities

5

Mainly students opt jn for 4 seater rooms but there are 3 seater and 1 seater room too. There is no 2 seater room. Price is very very very reasonable. I'm paying 90000 for a year and that includes mess. Room has 1 bed 1 almirah and 1 study table for each student. Coming to mess food is prepared in hygienic manner and is nutritious and tasty. In week 2 days we are server either choice between paneer and chicken. Registration for hostel is done during admission in 1st year only and also if you're thinking of joining hostel please do it at earliest. It gets filled really really really fast.

Admission

Admission process was really streamline and easy. When I applied I got a counselor and he helped me through whole process. Cut off is 30 marks out of 100 in cucat exam. There are no reservation benefits. Everyone is considered as one here. But there are some scholarship benefits if you belong to certain group or state. Exams are pretty frequent and difficultly I would consider as medium to easy. I dont thing improvement in Admission process is needed as it's already pretty good.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:70 per subject in lecture while for labs it's about half of that. Faculty is pretty chill and helps you in a lot of things. Some Faculties can be bad but they are overshadowed by good faculties ofc. Also if you're here for learning and like achieve something then definitely faculties will push you forward. In my time a teacher of mine funded my whole research paper out of her pocket. Interaction with Faculty are pretty chill and progressive apart from some but it can be ignored

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies. This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
