Chandigarh University - My experience

Since I have already mentioned, the university being a private one, it is in a constant pressure to prove it's worth in the market and rope in maximum students. Therefore, to ensure such process the curriculum is made very flexible and rigorous for us.

From 2024, college has made carrying out an internship in every summer and winter break compulsory. Both offline internship and online training is available. But the only thing is that you have to do find these internships for yourself.

College offers two options to the students pursuing their under graduation program, one is taking an on-campus placement opportunity and other is an offline one. So even if a student doesn't choose the first option he can still opt for the second one. Average package is also good, getting better each year.

The scholarship scheme is fantastic in the university. You just have to give a simple entrance exam and based on your score you can earn a handsome amount in scholarship. Well, other than this, you can also avail different scholarships based on your academic performance, background and sports abilities.

The overall experience living in the campus is fantastic. College is very strict with ragging policy so everyone can feel safe studying there. Ambience and atmosphere is very lively and peaceful. Lots of parks and picturesque places. Night life at the campus is fantastic too.

Unlike the infamous opinion about hostel on the internet, the hostel Life here is also very nice. Again a no ragging policy is followed. Food is nice too. Proper rules are followed and the atmosphere is nice too.

The admission process is quite simple. You just have to go on their site or you can simply search for cu admission form, from their you can proceed with your process. Once you have done that officials from the admission cell will contact you and guide you through the entire process.

The facility to student ratio is 1:8. The student approach teaching by inculcating various hands on teaching methods. They are always interacting with us and make a monthly report to assess our response to their teaching. We also have an online survey system where we rate our experience with the teacher after our every exam.
