Likes

Everything was very good teachers are very supportive and helpful and they teach in a good manner and very nicely.
Good in annual technical festival in library range of books always available socialism groups clubs created by students in college sports & extra activities also available for all students to improve study alongwith other activities.
The placement opportunities at my college were quite good, with many students securing job offers from reputable companies through campus placements.

Dislikes

Admission process was very hectic as they were not good management very bad because only thing that they want is more money and students don't care about people bad admission process teaching is very bad
Lots of restriction for our department whenever we want to do something new
The timing of the exams used to in afternoon which made us feel dizzy.

Review of BRIMS

Likes

The campus of the college is very big having varities of sections like turf for the cricket, basketball Court for basketball. College has great canteen with the great food quality and they also have cleanliness.
They have great staff in sence of teaching. They teach us with fun
The ratio of boys and girls is irrelevant because there are not mayn girls in the college batch of 2023-2025

Dislikes

Non teaching staff of the college is not very cooperative
There are no other curriculum in the college they just focus on the academics
Although they have good sports ground but we are not allowed to access it until we pay

They are really bad in other curriculum they mostly focused on completing their syallabus and ignor all the things. As a suggestion they can focus on the other skill development of students that they are lacking behind

Placement Experience:

Placements start as soon as the acedemic start and they continue throughout the year. The placements are 100% for the final placements. The highest CTC is 26.3 LPA, average is 15.24 LPA, while the lowest is around 9 LPA. Most preferred companies are the MNCs and the asset management companies and banks, which offer CTC around the mean. The placement process is completely driven by the placement committee and the process is very transperent. there were more than 76 recruiters that hired from SIMSREE last year

The good college

Likes

College teaching staff is so good and understanding and also maintain discipline all updates reach to us as early as possible including study events and all and campus is so good and spacious the efforts teacher are putting on students that students
Can understand.there are so relevant information given before exam
Bike parking facility is not good college want to improve in thath point and the attendance is so good and the class room is spacious and full on air conditioners teacher teaching is so good and approachable according to college is so clean and nice

Dislikes

College don't have any parking facility my bike has towed from college because of my no parking facility college want to provide parking facility

Sports facilities and library rules are strictly followed
Teachers are all kind and caring about the syllabus

Dislikes

The delay in results and marksheets are late
Ground grass cutting is delayed everytime

TIMSR'S student view

Likes

Faculty is good and there is dedicated games room and discussion room.
The teaching methods are good.the teachers are good with good knowledge of subject.they also provide mentoring sessions.
Campus is large and good and clean we have cafeteria in campus the quality of social interaction is good.

Dislikes

Fees more.The fees should be less as all can not afford it.
The campus is huge so it takes time if you want to explore whole campus
Some times it is hard to talk to other non teaching faculty as they are rude.

Placement Experience:

the placement opportunities at TIMSR are quite strong, and I’m confident I’ll find a good role after completing my degree.Students at TIMSR usually become eligible for campus placements starting in the third semester. That’s when most of the recruitment drives, pre-placement talks, and interviews happen.

Life At Timsr

Likes

Faculty is experienced and good.They provide in-depth and practical knowledge of the subject.
There are various fests organised and inter College competitions organised for the students.
There were quite good companies for internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The difficulty level fo the exam is medium to tough. The curriculum is quite industry relevant. The curriculum prepares for real-world applications. The alumni network of Thakur Institute of management studies and research is quite strong.

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
