All about NMIMS Mumbai law...

I like the infrastructure of the classroom and also that the whole college is easy centralised which makes you feel comfortable in the humid weather of Mumbai... Also I like that the college is fully neat and clean and all the staff works very hard..
I like the college canteen it is very much affordable and there are lots and lots of varieties for food ... Also the canteen service provides you with packing of your food if you want to take it at your home and have it so that's also plus point
I like the faculty they are very much supportive humble and corporative in nature and comes from a very strong educational background...

Dislikes

There is no campus life you will not get any sport to play there is no music room no dance room it's just a building and the floor is your college it's basically feels like a corporate job of 9 to 5
Also I didn't like that though there are many varieties of food available in the canteen but all of them are not very good some of them taste like hell and you may also get a stomach ache after eating it. Also in drinks like nimbu pani it's just hell
There is very less social interaction in the college people don't take initiative in interacting with you even the faculty they are very good but it feels like they are just coming to do their job teaching you and going out they don't try to interact

Placement Experience:

From 9th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited nimims Mumbai are ALMT Legal, TATA Housing, Barclays etc . Out of 59 students 50 students were placed including 15 pre placement offer. The highest package offered is of 19 lakh average package is of 11 to 12 lacs. 75% to 80% students are getting placements in this college. My plans after the degree is to go for government job...

Nice college

Likes

Faculty The faculty is very good almost all are phd scholars and the teachers help in class as and when required
Students The students are good as they have cleared the entrance test and hence good exposure and competitive environment
Classrooms The classrooms have all the facilities like smart board and air-conditioned classrooms

Dislikes

NO CAMPUS AS there is only one floor allocated for law college
No sports in college as there is no ground near college and there are private grounds in mumbai
timings the timings for 1st and 2nd year is from 1 to 7 so no time to internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in law as there are many lawyers in my family and so was inclined toward this field. there are around 70 students in a class with 6 divisions so in total around 300 students are there in both ba and bba llb. Most of the faculty is good with Ph.D. degrees and some teachers are visiting faculty. Exams are more analytical in nature and hence able to pass.

Placement cells are very new in this college. Not much placement. Only a few students are placed. Some students are placed in good law firms. Some go for judiciary or litigation. Placement cells share the wrong details about placement.

Placement Experience:

Right from the first year students can apply for assistance in getting internships with the placement cell of the college. As per the latest news, 2 students in their 4th year got placed in Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas with an annual package of 16 lacs per annum after they complete their degree. I am planning on continuing my higher studies after my degree. More than 25 leading companies from all over the country offer jobs to candidates and more than 80% of the batch got placed while others chose to study further and some started their own practice.

Bad remark I'll say in terms of independence there's lot of restrictions infrastructure fees they charge is huge but in terms of return there's hardly any facilities as per there infrastructure fees.

If you attend this college, you'll find that it caters to an expensive, cushy, rich crowd. However, whether or not you actually learn anything will be up to you, as the classes can be quite lax. You'll need to maintain 805 attendance, which is compulsory.

On the bright side, the teachers are good and there are decent placement opportunities, especially when compared to other colleges. There are also various opportunities available, but keep in mind that money talks here, so be prepared to fend for yourself. The course itself is okay, much like most engineering colleges, but the labs and equipment are good and the infrastructure is solid.

Overall, if you choose to attend this college, you'll find that it's like any good engineering college with a higher fee. Just remember to stay focused and take advantage of the resources available to you. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed and thrive in this environment.
