- Although haven't faced any ragging encounters for now but there are restrictions on 1st year students to avoid ragging cases

1st year course is designed in order to let an engineering student go through basics of all fields. We are biology, engineering graphics basics too which can help further in our department specific studies

- Placement is better average and hishest are also good ,all Sports facilities are available ,greenery in campus
- Campus is covering area of 700 acres having good transport facilities of electric bus
Dislikes
- First year students are not allowed to go outside the hostel after 7 pm

Some aspects are how to extract metal from ore ,how the metallurgist useful in ISRO and big industries,i Have intetest in that metal field thats why i choose this one Many labs are working in the real world applications are there Some labs techiques uses old technology should be replaced exam conducts after every month

- The labs here are really good. You will find a great number of instruments and machinery available.
- We have regular fests held every year so the environment is quite engaging for the students and it's a quite happening campus.
Dislikes
- Ece department does not have a building of its own and students have to face a lot of problems roaming here and there in order to attend classes.
- The hostel maintenance is not good .Even after telling multiple times no one actually cares.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was quite interested in how materials are chosen for a particular product. The testing and complications that come in the way are of great value to me. Furthermore I am happy as I get to implement my theoretical knowledge through the labs that we have each day in the second half of the classes. So this helps in the real world application and problem that come in the way.

- The infrastructure is soo good and campus is soo big its spread in 650 acr
- There are many event held across the year soo you enjoy a lot
Dislikes
- the hostel timing of both girls and boys

The relevance of topics in course are not only related to the selected particular course but also the real-life requirement in the world its very beneficial to very student they have to learn cumputer language and also have to practical in another field too

- Sports clubs of the college is really very good, the gym is the center attraction
- Few faculties are very good in their field.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not upto the mark.
- Senior junior interaction is not good for 1st year students.

How is materials science & metallurgical engineering in MANIT Bhopal?
Materials Science and Metallurgy is a good branch. It has huge career prospects in R&D. One can also opt for higher studies post a B.Tech in Metallurgy.
This branch deals with the science of materials. One gets to study the extraction of metals and their refining & purification. The Department of Metallurgy at MANIT Bhopal is quite good. It allows ample time to prepare for GATE. Upon cracking GATE, one can get a job in PSUs like Vizag, IOCL, SAIL, etc.
The department professors are good and supportive. They encourage the students to grab new opportunities in the field of Metallurgy. The placement figures for B.Tech Metallurgy aren’t as good as B.Tech CSE/ECE. The average package is 5–6 LPA, and the highest package touches 8–9 LPA. About 60–70% of the students receive campus placement.
Materials Science and Metallurgy is a good branch, given that one shows interest in it. It offers ample study time to prepare for competitive exams on the side.
