MANIT Bhopal Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package & Top Recruiters

During 2022, the placement records were good for B.Tech CSE, decent for ECE, and average/below average for other branches. Here are some details on the 2022 B.Tech placements at MANIT Bhopal-

The average and median packages were promising for B.Tech CSE, ECE, and to some extent, Electrical. But the situation wasn’t good for B.Tech Civil, Chemical, Metallurgy and Mechanical. For them, most of the offers lied in the category of >10 LPA.

From these stats, one gets an idea of the placement scenario at MANIT. Placement-wise, MANIT Bhopal is a really good option for B.Tech CSE/ECE.

As per the placement data available for MANIT Bhopal, here are the 2022 placement stats for B.Tech CSE-

A total of 261 offers were received by the B.Tech CS students, and the average package was recorded at Rs. 17.45 LPA. The average package was quite decent. 

Some of the top recruiters that visited the campus were- Deloitte, Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Wipro, Paytm, Jio, etc. 

From these stats one can conclude that the placements for CSE were quite good at MANIT Bhopal.

M.Tech CS students are offered good placement opportunities at MANIT Bhopal.

They are eligible for placement in all the leading brands that recruit from the CSE department. The companies that visit the department for placements are- Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Maq Software, Mu Sigma, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Hashedin, DE Shaw, Directi and Flipkart.

However, you’ll have to score at least 6.5-7 CGPA to be eligible for placement. Apart from the top brands mentioned above, TCS, Infosys and Nucleus Software also recruit candidates from M.Tech CS. 

MANIT Bhopal offers really good placements for M.Tech CS, but the placement scenario is not good for other M.Tech specializations. 

MANIT Bhopal offers plenty of opportunities and exposure, and the Civil Department is very professional and highly reputed. But as far as placements are concerned, the opportunities are very limited for Civil students.

Unlike elite institutes, you won’t get direct placement offers from Mega Project Holders. The placement records are very unsatisfactory for the Civil branch. During 2022, the average package for B.Tech Civil was a mere 6.74 LPA. The maximum package was 13 LPA, the median package was 6.30 LPA, and the lowest package was 4.8 LPA.

But you’ll get plenty of time in the department to join coaching for GATE, IES, GRE, etc. Basically, it is better to work hard and try for off campus placements, or higher studies/competitive exams. Do not rely on the placement drive at the Civil department. 

Thus, the placement opportunities for Civil engineers at MANIT Bhopal are very few.

As a former student at MANIT Bhopal, here are my tips to prepare you for campus placements-

• Do not be overconfident- It never helps to be overconfident about yourself. It is wrong to believe that you’ll secure a job simply by the virtue of your communication skills, or by watching some online videos on interview preparation. Instead, overconfidence will work against you.

• Prepare well- You’ll know the sequence in which companies visit the campus. So practice guesstimates, case-studies, or whatever is required to get selected in a particular company. If speaking is not your forte, practice well.

• Be patient- Don’t feel jealous of your friends if they are placed before you. Keep working hard, and you’ll be placed sooner or later. 

Take your placement drive seriously. Once you are out of college, life will get tougher, and you’ll have to compete against people from various backgrounds/institutions.
