I ALSO HAD AN OPTION TO GO TO NIT RAIPUR NIT JAMSHEDPUR BUT I CHOOSED THIS COLLEGE OVER THEM ,IN NIT RAIPUR THE BASIC HOSTEL FACILITIES ARE MISSING AND IN JAMSHEDPUR THE INFRASTRUCTURE IS VERY POOR BUT THE PLACEMENT OF NIT JAMSHEDPUR IS FAR BETTER THAN MY COLLEGE

The overall Campus Environment having the campus area size spread across a vast area land of 650 acres.
The quality of students that comes as top 2% if the students are able to get admission into the colllege
The infrastructure and overall equipments , labs, and a lush green campus located at centre of city.

The timings of the class and the academic pressure on the students
the 75 percent attendence policy makes students feel pressurized and not good for students
Students are not allowed to use bikes and motor vehicles in the campus which makes transportation difficult into roaming

Structured Learning in a serene Campus setting

Likes

Travelling Covininence is very much needed and thats a point to be much appreciated.
Campus life is very muchh happening. though interaction is quiet low
Faculties are top class. The course and Faculties actually focus on research not just on paper.

Dislikes

Bikes are not allowed in the hostels or around it.
Buses are provided but usually they are never on time
Theres a very little interaction between the heads and students

Admission:

Honestly I did'nt got one that i Wanted still I would say i chose Manit Bhopal primarily because of its strong reputation and Placement stats. as i completed my betch from Gwalior (MP) . So I often get to know about Manit.

Campus is in the city connectivity is very good from the campus . It is the old campus Manit have very good alumini network and Bhopal is city of lake MANIT offered the best combination of ranking, location, branch preference, and return on investment, which made it the right choice for me.

A GLANCE AT AYUSH'S COLLEGE LIFE

Likes

The liked things include a good sports ground and a well equipped gym and also good hostels with various facilities like washing machine
Well educated professors and good depth knowledge of the subject
The institute's greenery as a lot of trees are present in the campus

Dislikes

The mess food as it sometimes good but not always
The grading system is so uncertain and old traditioned
The fees of the college as it is not lower as compared to private colleges

Admission:

I Applied For Iit Delhi And Iit Bombay, But The Cutoff Of Such Colleges Is So High So Securing Admission Is Very Hard There. Also, CSE would Be The Only Best Branch Which Was Possible At My Rank, Including The College Rankings.

Manit Bhopal Review

Likes

Collage is quite good I like the faculty are highly qualified.
We get a lot of free time and enjoy and utilise the time very well
There are lot of opportunities in the college we have to grab one.

Dislikes

We don't get much freedom in first year of our college
I don't like the fact we have to attend 75 on mandatory basis
Managing time in college with all other things is very Important

Admission:

I was getting Mechanical in Malviya National institute of technology,jaipur but I preferred electronics and communication in Manit because,I am interested in electronics and it is also a growing sector

About MANIT

Likes

Campus have good environment with so much facilities, which provides you benefits like free wifi , bus and bycycle
Hostel facility are awesome 5 star hostel with luxurious amenities like lift , gizer etc. Also have some many activities
Have its own luxurious gym with huge sports complex with free medical facilities and free ambulance service

Dislikes

The new director not allowed students to entry their two wheeler bike , because campus is too much big
They don't have ac in the classroom which may lead , to uncomfortable in summer season, and very difficult to stay in classroom
I don't found more than two things bad about this college.... I like almost every thing they provide

Admission:

You have to clear the JEE Mains 2 paper of B.Arch. It has a very high cutoff for the general category, and it has senior and well-experienced faculty, which have good advantages and have a very good environment and provide high-quality facilities

The campus is really huge and beautiful.
The alumni network of this college is really strong.
The events are truly amazing and is good for exposures.

Dislikes

The campus is huge so have to walk a lot.
The hostels and mess are truly insufferable
The college has a lot of unused land and is unabale to develop.

Admission:

This is one of the closest NIT from my hometown. The college reputation and placement stats are good in this college. The events and exposures is what really attracted me towards this college. The main aim is always IIT

MANIT Bhopal: 2 Answered Questions

Why did MANIT Bhopal cutoff go down this year?

In 2017, all the NITS saw a drop in their cutoff ranks. The reason was the removal of class 12th boards percentage from JEE Mains rank calculation.

Here is a simple example to get my point across-

Let’s assume there are 3 seats in IITs and 3 in NITs in 2016, and 26 candidates sit for JEE Advanced.This is how their ranks are placed-

A-1, B-2, C-3, D-4, E-5, F-6, G-7, and so on.

Till 2016, a lot of top performers of JEE Advanced lagged behind in JEE Mains because of their boards percentage. This created an irregular pattern for the JEE Mains ranking. For example, the JEE Mains rankings of those very students could have turned out like-

C-1, D-2, E-3, B-4, F-5, A-6, H-7, and so on.

Now, A,B,C took the 3 seats in IITs, and D,E,F got into NITs. So, the cutoff for IITs was 3, and that for NITs was 5 ( as F was the last one to get into NIT, with rank 5 in JEE Mains).

But in 2017, the JEE Mains rankings were quite similar to the JEE Advanced rankings. So, the rankings for those 26 students could look something like this in 2017-

B-1, D-2, A-3, C-4, F-5, E-6, K-8, and so on.

If A,B,C took IITs, and D,E,F got into NITs, the cutoffs for NITs was 6 ( as E with rank 6 was the last person to get in).

Here, the cutoff went down by 1 rank. But when lakhs of students attempt an exam, such a change brings down the cutoffs by hundreds and thousands.

This is the reason why MANIT Bhopal cutoffs went down from that year.
